This is an excellent high quality product - far better than more expensive versions I've seen in DIY stores. It's wider, thicker and sticker than a very expensive version of this product I bought from Homebase. Make my decorating a hassle free dream. It can be a little difficult to work with, it does like to stick to itself - think of a big roll of sellotape. But with perseverance and a bit of practice, it provides great protection. I wish I'd bought more of the stuff as I ran out just before the end of the job, hence buying a more expensive, worse version of this product. Highly recommended, just buy more than you need.

Excellent product, when we moved in laid to protect the carpet from workmen, stayed down for weeks, easy to apply as it's sticky on the outside so just rolls down, others have the stickiness on the inner side of the roll so very awkward to lay. Very strong and great fun popping the bubbles as you walk around on it.

Good, but way to sticky. You can end up cutting away the parts that stick together. Used it on the stairs and landing for toilet training a toddler.

Was perfect when we had plumbers in installing a new boiler. We found our rhythm with one person standing in front slowing rolling rolling and the other following pressing down the carpet protector with something sturdy like a block of wood, heavy book. Rolling out a bit, pressing down, then rolling out some more. When the work was completed it was easy to remove, the carpets where clean and were not sticky.

Used to cover carpet pre decorating. Roll and stroll makes it sound easy, not that easy takes a bit of time. Took two of us a while to make sure lined up with edges and no gaps. Also sticks to you as you do it if you have to move it. If you drop it like I did untangling will take a while. But worth it for good protection while painting. Used on stairs and that was more tricky, to do it in a safe way where you wouldn’t trip. Easier to remove than put down.

The concept is a good one and I have used a similar product before but not Everbuild. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the name of the previous product, so looked at reveiws for other manufacturers and decided to try Everbuild. Bad decision. I didn't like the fact that the sticky side was outwards. This made it very difficult to place into position(because it stuck as soon as it touched a surface- even if that wasn't the correct place) and if it touched already laid film, it lifted that up as I rolled it out.It was very difficult to cut neatly - which meant it left a crumpled up edge which didn't stick down properly(trip hazard). It got progressively more sticky as I got further into the roll - to such an extent that I could hardly roll it out - but frustratingly - it didn't stick to the carpet properly. It is easier to use just rolling out in straight line - but I was putting it on the stairs as well as in a room. I didn't have any of the above problems with the product that I used in the past. If I need to buy carpet protector again - it definitely won't be this manufacturer.

So glad we got this it sticks to the carpet fantastically, keeps your carpet clean and when it's finished just pull it up and get rid of it

Do not use on hard floors. Very sticky and difficult to roll out. But once down it is hard wearing.

We used other type of this plastic and it was just a little sticky. But this one is as sticky as normal office tape and we were afraid to use it to protect floor during renovation. I don't want to spend weeks then to clean a glue from floor after this sticky plastic. So as we have opend a pack we can't return it to Amazon. Even can't imagin what for we can use it.
