Easy and simple to use
For my reptile tanks. A must have to have these on a controller so nothing is over heated and animals safety isn’t at risk. Great design, easy to understand and control. Would buy again and recommend it.

Now I have way too many plants!
I kept the two mats on around 83 degrees to start many seedlings. These mats made a huge difference in the starting process. I will be using these for as long as I can.

Glad I purchased!
Works pretty good. One mat evidently gets a little warmer than the other, because the tray above it drys out sooner, but definitely not a deal breaker. I think they helped considerably even with the grow lights above. Plants are in my unheated basement and need the heat these provide. Seedlings growing faster than I thought they would!

Currently Using Heat Mat To Start Vegetable Transplants
Headline says it all. We keep our house cooler than most (68-69 degrees,) so it;s had to germinate seeds, especially peppers. With dual heat mats, and dual thermostat, I can choose best heat setting for germination of seeds on each individual mat. Highly recommend this set

Stops working quickly
You pay 2-3x more for this unit which touts a thermostat and temp probes and it didn't even last one season. I started seeds in January 2024 and within a few months, the thermostat stopped working. If I set both mats (side by side) to be within a 60-75 degree range, one mat would read at 85 and the other 60. I could not rely on it at all. Now I'm searching for a replacement.

Excellent product
Excellent product, kept the soil temp around 77F. Seeds germinated extremely fast and seedlings are growing strong! Did not see much of an increase in my electric bill so that's a plus. Superhelpful to have a quick cheat sheet written out on the pad itself which was a nice touch, although I do wish a cheat sheet for the controller operation menu items were on the mat as well (for example like what AH1 means) instead of needing to refer back to the manual to see that stands for High Temp Alarm for probe 1. Although I'm assuming most people will probably set it once and forget it.For me, the most helpful part of the documentation which I almost wish was first or second page in the booklet (can be found on second to last page) are the factory default settings just to see or know what the out of the box ranges were all set as to know if I would need to change any parameters from the start.Other than that, once my mat and probe were setup, this has worked flawlessly and exactly what I hoped for when purchasing a seedling mat, and love the fact that the controller remembers previously used settings so next time I need it for the same type of plants etc, after plugging it into power it simply works how I set it up previously. Win-Win.

That's it!
I decided to get this seed warming mat to reduce the amount of time for my seeds to germinate. Different seeds prefer different temperatures to germinate successfully. Lettuce for example will only germinate at temperatures below 70°f, while tomato seeds prefer 65 to 85°f. This mat has two separate programs or inputs and outputs so you can control two different mats at the same time with different temperatures, if you get a second mat and temperature probe. So far this seems to be high quality and very useful. I will certainly consider this brand when purchasing other gardening control products. I do wish they would provide a model number for the temperature probe so I can aquire another and control a second mat. These all started in a jiffy peat dome with the mat and all germinated 2 1/2 to 3 days with a setting of 76°f. They couldn't be happier!Update. I just realized this did come with 2 temperature probes. When I got it I was so excited to set it up I just grabbed a probe and a mat and jumped in. Set the box aside. The picture even shows both of the probes. I was thinking about using the other probe to monitor temperature and control a relay to control a positive flow fan in my tent until I can afford the Inkbird temperature humidity controller. It seems very useful.
