Just read a fun little review on here of somebody talking about the silicone degrading because they were using it for cooking and a chew toy for their baby. So I thought i'd provide a review from the perspective of someone whose whisk hasn't been eaten. And I can say that is has withstood everything that i've got it to do- namely sauces, mixes, eggs and the odd hot chocolate here and there. It has whisked stuff much better than my proper whisk than I find myself using this one now as it allows for more precise movement and better results. I find that not only does the silicone look after my cookware, it also makes cleaning easier. Just get a brush into the awkward bits and it's all good.I don't expect it to last forever, because it's just a whisk, and i've never known of a good whisk that has lasted forever (maybe that's just me). It's also cheap. But it's withstood a lot of pressure and remains in fantastic condition. Maybe time will tell, but so far there hasn't been a problem.

I have used the non-silicon equivalent of this magic whisk for years now and it really is a fantastic product in my kitchen. However when I purchased some new pans and was worried they would get scratched, I decided to try out this silicone version and it was exactly the solution I needed: perfect for whisking in a hot pan but no issues with scratching or scraping the pan.If you have never used these whisks before they are excellent for making sauces, whisking gravies and even whipping up salad dressings. I would not want to be without one. In all honesty this silicone equivalent is slightly hampered by its silicone coating i.e. I think the non-silicone equivalent and original magic whisk does cut through lumps a bit better, so unless you want to protect the container you are whisking in, I would recommend the original Kitchen Craft Magic Whisk, Stainless Steel, 20cm over this silicone one. But if you do want that protection, there is nothing better than this one. A great product, I would highly recommend.

Great for whisking cream etc. Some of the egg white can remain in it so needs a good cleaning.

I have used this style of whisk for years as I find them easy to use and very effective for eggs, drinks, shakes, etc. However, as I am now using non-stick pans it meant I couldn't use them whilst cooking. However, this has silicone covered wires, so safe for all types of pots.Great little whisk. Sometimes you need to use a brush to remove stubborn small bits that are stuck between the wires, but that is not a big issue and happens with most whisks.Easy to store and portable if you want to mix shakes etc on the go or at work.

Very useful with non stick pans, great for making scrambled put eggs straight into pan and whisk so no need for separate jug/bowl. Also used for quick white sauce with no butter (as on low fat no fat diet)! just whisked with flour and milk, bit of seasoning and keep stirring until thickened

Ok whisk, doesnt work well for creating really thick mixtures.

Great for whisking eggs for scrambling, and salad dressings. I've had one for many years and it's still like new. Don't let the food dry on the whisk as it makes it difficult to clean - other than that it's a perfect kitchen tool.

Perfect size for a 500mL jug. They're easy to clean if you wash them staight away or let them soak.Don't make the mistake of leaving these in gravy or a sauce until you can be bothered to do the dishes though!

Ist perfekt!!! liegt gut in der Hand, Top Qualität gut verarbeitet und erfühlt seinen zweck, keine klumpen z.B. Mehl löst sich schnell auf. Alles was man in einer Becher, kleinere Gefäße verquirlen kann, ist schnell und perfekt. Ein muss in jeder Küche!!!

Llegó perfectamente, sin problemas. La varilla es más pequeña de lo que pensaba, pero aún así está muy bien para emulsiones, para trabajar las salsas o batir un par de huevos.
