I searched high and low and read several reviews on other products and finally decided on this one. It had not been reviewed, it has no Thatcham or other approvals, so was a major gamble. No regrets what so ever, but before I add more, although stating the obvious, a determined thief will get past any obstacles. This is a good visual deterrent and would require a lot of effort to undo.I am using it on 40+ year old soft top MGB fitted with a large diameter, thin rimmed Motolita type steering wheel. This lock fits well and in multiple positions, including inhibiting entry to the drivers seat, if you require it.It is of solid construction and the key is not something I have seen before. It is a four bladed design and the cut out on the key's grip MUST line up with the red dot on the barrel of the lock. It will NOT fit in any other orientation. A neat feature.The lock was ordered on Friday, I received notification that it would be delivered on the Tuesday, it actually arrived on the Monday. I considered this excellent service but I'm sure, as there was no prior notification, it may cause problems for some customers.I have given it 5 Stars as it does precisely what I required of it. The seller was prompt and it was as described. Price wise it sat in the middle ground and I have no complaints.I sincerely hope the reference to the vehicle aids others doing similar research. I do not believe it will be problematic with use on more modern vehicles as there's a great range of adjustability to suit steering wheel internal diameters.

Doesn't go out to 16" so doesn't fit my car, I'll see if I can get another bracket welded on. Otherwise OK for the price

Works brilliantly and good service

seems to do the trick pretty well - certainly looks the part when it is in place.

whilst the description on Amazon says this lock fits wheels upto 16" the packaging states fits upto 12". I could not get this to fit securely onto my VW type 2 camper. in addition this lock is of a very poor quality, i actually managed to force the lock mechanism with my bare hands, its rubbish.

Doesent fit a lot of cars

I like the quality and durability for the price. The claws are a bit tight as I have a steering wheel cover on my wheel. That means the claws are hard to fit over the wheel. Also, if not careful, the pressure over the horn causes it to go off. So I just adjusted it a bit to one side of the wheel and found a way for it to fit fine. I like the two stickers also that it comes with. I recommend this product and the price is very good. It also has a very well coated exterior so I know it won't damage my car parts. Go for it.

Works as needed to. It's a great deterrent. It works ok on a Mazda, my horn blocks the bar from going across but I adjusted in a different part of it.When I opened the package it reeks like gasoline for a solid few weeks. The smell is slowly going away, it could be a new rubber smell.Sometimes it does not lock, but it still looks great as a deterrent.

not the most heavy duty one I've seen still makes it harder to steal car. Works as expected and a great price point. Easy to use

Very cheap.The plastic on this lock smells and never goes away. You can almost get stoned from the VOCs.

Pros - Affordable, sufficient for acting as a deterrent, works as describedCons - Interestingly had a gasoline smell / residue out of package, takes a few attempts to unlock with key each time
