I used this in a rental property where the previous owner had made a mess of the kitchen backsplash. This allowed me to make it look good for my renter without a ton of work or money. It's easy to cut with a utility knife and looks good when finished. This wouldn't be my first choice for my permanent home, but if budget or time is an issue, then it works as an easy visual upgrade and it's FAR EASIER than doing real tile. It's easy to clean and is fairly thin, making it also easy to handle and cut to size and shape as needed. The peel and stick backing worked quite well and have had no reports of any pieces peeling off the wall yet (and there was virtually no prep done on the wall before installing).
