Do not use to power mini amps with.
I bought this to power a PAM8620, can handle up to 26v. I have a wide range of voltage/amp little power supplies like this. I used the LED plug to get it wired up to plug into the amp board. All i hear is back ground noise even with a extra ferrite attached closer to the power connection on the board. Using the same LED connector direct wired back to the 12v/1amp supply i am using no issues. Both are switching power supplies so i am not sure why it would be that bad. It does work perfect for other 18v non-audio devices.
