Waffles is no longer waiting!
During warm weather my dog uses the doggie door we have built into the sliding screen door, but cold and winter days were tough, since we couldn't keep the door open. This mat is PERFECT! We let her out and when she's ready to come in the chimes go off. So far no complaints from us or Waffles!

Signals Cats are ready to come inside
Easy install and works great to alert when my cats want to come in from outside. No need to keep the door open keep a watch on the door. They seemed to learn quickly and understand how it works. Worries at first it would not go off with smaller cat but after putting it under a mat and letting it flatten it works great!

Barely works
$60 mat that isnt worth $10. Very cheap construction. 1 out of 10 times stepping on this mat will trigger this alarm. Junk

Short product life
Our dog used the first mat we bought and it was really helpful so we purchased the second one Now neither mat is consistent on making us aware she wants in so they are pretty useless now. They are pretty expensive when they only last a few months.

Pretty decent
We use this to train our dog to ask to go outside. It’s wireless and that makes it easy to make the sound audible anywhere central. We have ours under a door mat. Our dog steps on the mat and hears the ring as we do. It helps us stay on top of the dog needs. It was easy to set up. The chime is loud enough and offers an alarm option for safety if desired. Little pricy but worth it for the wireless option.

Alarm works GREAT for alerting US!!
The media could not be loaded. This was just an idea I had and it worked WONDERFULLY!We have a 12 year old pup going blind and slightly senile. Been more potty accidents lately. After looking at possible solutions I thought of something that we used for my Mom who had dementia- a pressure cushion so it would alarm staff if she tried to get out of her chair or bed. Well this is working BEAUTIFULLY for alerting my family when the pup heads to the door as he never makes a sound to let us know and will end up going somewhere inappropriate. He loves the PRAISE he gets every time he walks across it. I used bright pink tape so “we” would remember the area to avoid but it may be helping him notice this special area on the rug - could be we are just lucky but we’ve had it less than a week and it has been VERY HELPFUL!

Yes, I recommend this.
We step on it and it rings reliably. That’s all we need it to do. Don’t know about battery longevity yet, but it’s had a couple of hundred rings in the past few weeks.
