We have had this for a couple months now and we are really happy with it. I had to return the more well known brand because the sound amplification was so low and didn't really work. This gives good sound, that one would expect. It looks better to than the gold one with a square sound box. Also, the kids really love the added disco ball. That was a nice bonus.

Fun, easy-to-use, portable karaoke mike that works with your smartphone via bluetooth. Right out of the box, it was easy to set-up and start using. My kids have already taken it over to sing all their favorite songs. I'll have to check other reviews to see what apps or karaoke videos that others are using, but we've been using karaoke videos on Youtube to sing along. I had a more expensive karaoke mic that hooked up to my TV before and while the quality of the sound was much better, this karaoke mic is easier to use and your music library is only limited to what you can pull up on your phone. I got the one that is pictured with the lights included that you plug into the USB at the bottom. We prefer to use it without the disco lights as those are super bright, but in the party setting, I'm sure it would be fun to use. The overall sound is good and you can adjust the volume, echo and other settings to your liking.

I love my new karaoke mic! When i ordered my mic i charged it for awhile then was able to use it. The disco did not work. I contacted the seller who gave great customer service and replaced it. The disco works great and immediately after plugging it in. Its so fun singing into the mic with the disco ball going at the bottom lighting up the room. The seller sent me emails before i tried the disco ball just to make suggestions. I read the reviews before purchasing it and everyone was right, its a great karaoke mic. Easy to use. If any improvements, it would be for it to charge faster. The initial charge takes awhile so be patient. Charge early before using it. It wont be ready in time if you charge at an event before using. I did that and had to wait. I should have charged before i got there because it takes awhile.

This would be great if not for one terrible flaw. It isn’t anywhere near loud enough. No one but you can hear the music playing through it, and only if you sing VERY quietly. It’s pointless. You might as well blast some music on some speakers and sing into a wooden spoon for a microphone. That would be better than this.

Really enjoyed this compact unit (for a while). It's got a lot of bang for the $. Reverb, Bluetooth from phone, recording cable, long battery life, carrying case and more. One improvement I would suggest would be for a landscape mode phone holder so the words are more visible. Not very useful having phone in portrait position keeping words at a minimum rather than maximum size. Also, don't assume that this is a unit for large gatherings, it is a great unit for a kareoke venue around a camp fire, in a living room, with a small group of friends in a group.However now that I have had it a whole month, the handle came off. I can shove it back o but it's loose and wiggled. I could glue it but the handle is where the battery is if I ever need to replace. Seems like a bad handle design. Could easily have been made with clips, slide, snap method but wasn't. Hmmm I was thinking of buying a 22nd but with this handle and low volume I will have to look around. Off to find a glue bottle

Great service by seller & Amazon, they keep me up to date on my orders delivery date. After I got it I had to charge it for 8 hours. We finally got to try it. For this compact Karaoke system it sounds great, the price right now for this Microphone is great for now and you can get the Karaoke songs with lyrics on YouTube for free. We are having too much fun singing on this microphone We really bought this microphone, one for our grandson and one for our niece but we have been having too much fun. They’ll get it soon. I have been searching and found karaoke songs for children. My girlfriends co worker introduced us to this microphone. He likes it so much he bought 10 of them for his family members.

Normally I hate giving any product below three stars.. but what can I say. Got this today and were so happy we immediately opened the open the box to check it out. Well, the USB port at the bottom was not quite align. We tried to push the USB disco ball into the port but couldn't. Also there were scratches on the body. Nothing to scare of! I started charging it. Well, the handle was not 100% secured to the base. I had to push the handle back into the base by force. (I could see some screws between the seam). Quality wise, it has the buzzing sound whenever we turned it on, sometimes it persists while we sang. The volume is not loud at all even if the button is pushed up. The only good thing was the disco ball light that came with it. Kid loves it! Do not expect this to produce a true karaoke machine like voice. It is just a mic with under power amp.
