Overall, it a really good product, good quality material, comme with a good cover and a screen protector. Prebuild with a lot of game but was surprise no Mario game maybe for legal reason. Anyways super easy to add game. The only reason it not 5 on 5 is because I can’t play game like donkey kong 64 due to frame lag or mario tennis 64. If you don’t mind 64 game, this product is for you!

This handheld (Rg353V, non android dual boot version) is fantastic. The current firmware works good out of the box but I highly recommend getting up to date custom firmware. Arkos is one of the best, can update over wifi, nice UI, video previews, up to date emulator/retroarch cores etc. if your new to these handhelds there’s plenty of guides out there.The screen is bright and vibrant, d-pad, face buttons and joysticks all feel great. R2 and L2 can be awkward but many systems you will be running don’t use them. L1 and R1 are fine and overall it’s comfortable to hold.Speaker is loud and positioned well, Bluetooth headphones are supported with arkos and there is a 3.5mm headphone jack.HDMI function works great and doesn’t stretch out your games to widescreen by default like the android version does.Battery life is good as well depending on what system you play, just remember to turn off wifi/Bluetooth if you don’t use it. I can play gba games at 30% brightness (very bright) like this for a very long time.Game performance tested on a April 2023 build of arkos. All your older 2d stuff will run great even with higher scaling and filters if your into that. Ps1 runs perfect as well as Dreamcast, most psp titles run great, N64 will require core hopping but I played 90% of my games fine after finding the right core. As of this date the rice stand alone emulator works best for me with n64.I have about 12 hours of gameplay into this thing and love it. Highly recommend if your into stuff below the ps2/GameCube generation.

First off I 100% recommend this device for anyone looking for a pick up and play system with your favorite old school games from Nes on through some N64 and Dreamcast! Anbernic is one of the very best a making affordable solid little devices that will seemingly hold up for many many years if taken care of properly. I already own 4 other Anbernic products but this one by far has taken the slot as my favorite, as it can do everything the others can do but a tad bit extra and in a nice vertical form factor. My only issue with the device so far is the light bleed from the screen when on a black image is a little distasteful but when a colored image is on the screen you barely notice, and certain emulators within the device (namely the PSP) need a little tinkering to play at optimum levels which may be a little rough for new commers to emulation, but other than that it's the only reason im giving it 4 out of 5 stars!
