nice presentation wallet but a bit disappointed with the sharpness of the drills ok for wood but not so clever with metal

These drill bits are certainly fast and efficient, able to present a hole close to that required. A good start to a project. Unfortunately, as the drill bit works, it makes a bit of a mess with wood as the hole becomes the size required or plasterboard makes dust. A handy tool is a vacuum cleaner to prevent the spreading of the dross. It is worth dealing with as the hole is as we wanted, perhaps there, to start something bigger. A good and efficient tool.

I purchased this as it was one of the cheaper options and I had only one job I could think of for it.This was bought to drill a hole in the sink and accomodate a soap dispenser (see pic)After the pilot hole, first 3-4mm went through no problem, it then had to work hard to get to the required width (about 2-3cm).By hard I mean: switching from battery to heavy duty power drill, constantly overheating (use a coolant like WD40), and about 30min on/off drilling.For a quick job these are great (I’ve only done thick aluminium), in hindsight I would have gone for the ones with a spiral threading, probably would work faster and better

It did a superb job of cutting holes in plastic. Don't know well it works with other materials.
