Colgate Replaceable Head Toothbrush Starter Kit, Optic White, 2 Brush Heads

Great toothbrush handle. I’ve used the charcoal option and decided to try this one. The only downside is that the bristles are not so soft. This is the only reason I can’t give a 5 star rating.

These are a staple in our household. We buy these all the time; however I did notice the 4 pack is a bit less expensive.

I love this toothbrush. The Optic White brush head cleans very well, the best toothbrush I've used. I have been buying the regular non-replaceable ones for years. The side bristles for cleaning the gums is a great bonus. The metal handle has some weight to it compared to the traditional plastic handles but this doesn't bother me. The metal handle design offers a nice grip to it and doesn't slip with water and toothpaste on the handle. The brush head stays on the handle pretty well and doesn't feel like it would fall off. It's also pretty easy to just pull straight out and pop off to replace the brush head. The plastic used for the brush head is softer and more brittle than a traditional toothbrush as this was made with less plastic. While I love this replaceable toothbrush head, there is a semi-strong unpleasant plastic odor and taste to it. Since the brush head goes in the mouth to brush teeth (obviously lol), I'm left wondering if this plastic is non-toxic. If there was no plastic odor, I would have given it 5 stars. Edit: July 20. After using this brush for days, I noticed that in order to get close to the same clean feeling I get from the regular non-replaceable heads with a slightly different brush style, I would need to apply more pressure while brushing. I usually don't brush too hard but with this replaceable head, I can't get the same level of cleanliness with the same amount of pressure. The idea of the single row side bristles for the gums is a good one but impractical as it's weaker being a single row and that it dowsnt clean your teeth as well. And when you apply too much pressure for a better clean, it hurts your gums. You just can't win with this brush. I will be going back to what works best for me. It's too bad that I won't be able to use tyese replaceable brushes.

I wanted to love it. My daughter, who has braces, recommended this toothbrush to my husband and I. So I figured “why not?”. I liked how heavy it felt in my hand and how at the top of the package it said “soft bristles”. Well we got our double pack yesterday and my husband used his last night and told me how much he loved it. I waited until this morning to use mine and call me a sensitive Nancy, but my gums hurt! I didn’t bleed or anything but “soft” is the furthest thing from it! I’m hopeful I’ll adjust… I just hope they come out with something “extra soft” maybe. And maybe some other colors.

I been using this brush for years and love it. But why is the entire brush like 6.00 and to replacement heads 21.00??? The math is not mathin. Just buy 2 whole brush and call it a day.

love this option of having an eco friendly way to cut down on plastic usage. in addition the heavier than plastic metal handle feels great in the hand and feels like a solid quality! wish I found this sooner!

Easy to change!

Ho tentato la fortuna ma anche a me sono arrivati meno prodotti di quelli indicati; per la precisione solo una scatola su sei.

La idea me pareceuy buena, tienes un mango de aluminio y solamente cambias los cabezales, menos residuos a lo tonto y además el mango es mejor y con una estética más bonita. El mayor problema que veo es que parece como si Colgate no estuviese convencida de esto porque los cabezales cuestan más que un cepillo completo, son difíciles de encontrar y yo solo he podido comprarles suaves. El anclaje hasta el momento es muy bueno, el cabezal no tiene olguras y la experiencia general es estupenda. En fin una idea excelente hecha sin fe. Ojalá alguna otra marca se anime y lo haga en condiciones. A mí me parece el futuro y hacerlo no tiene ninguna gran complicación técnica.

Solo espero y no sea difícil conseguir después los repuestos
