I've been making smaller batches of fermented vegetables. From spring latch jars to wide mouth large mason jars. I use the big name grey plastic lids just slightly twisted on the jars with these weights inside. Fit perfectly with their beautiful notch knob. Great addition, nice heavy glass weight and VERY happy with the box they come in, with its pre formed cut outs that hold each weight like a luxury storage container.These would make a great gift for encouraging fermenting foods. They have this extra level beauty with the knob notches, which I find endearing.

These work pretty good, but if you use them in a larger jar/fermentation jar they flip over and are a pain to remove.

These are very pretty. They function as intended. I hope to get lots of use out of them. I recommend these to my friends, and Amazon customers who are reading my review. I purchased these to make fermented cabbage thus fall, 2023.

I ferment a lot and never have enough weights. Well now I do! Good quality & price.

I love everything about these. Not cheap feeling at all. The easiest knobs at the top for placing and removing, even with messy hands. The weight is as heavy as any other much more expensive sets I’ve bought in the past. I ferment a LOT of sauerkraut every year and these are by far my favorite. I’m glad I ordered a couple extra sets.

These work great. Just as expected

I’m new to making salt brine pickles and fermented veggies. These fit in wide mouth jars perfectly to hold everything below the brine level and prevent spoilage.

Kinda hard for a glass weight not to work, right?

These will not fit in any jar. I tried about 20 different styles and sizes of jars and I could not get one into a jar. DO NOT buy these. Now I am stuck with these useless things.
