I had tried this product during a facial and loved it. It definitely helps to balance your skin but you have to be prepared to use it a few times a week to see a difference. If your a face mask one a month kinda person I don’t recommend it.

As a woman with a busy schedule, finding skincare products that actually work without taking up too much time is a must. I appreciate that this masque is made right here in the USA. Supporting local businesses is always a win in my book. This soothing gel masque is a lifesaver for dry, tired-looking skin. With organic aloe vera, botanical extracts, mondo grass extract, and prickly pear cactus water, it's like a big drink of water for your face. Plus, it's all about preserving that essential hydration, perfect for when your skin needs a little pick-me-up. But here's where things get a bit tricky. The instructions say to use this masque three times a week for 30 minutes each time. As much as I'd love to indulge in a little self-care session that often, let's be real, that's a bit of a stretch for a busy woman like me. And then there's the price tag. At $38, it's definitely on the pricier side for a masque. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for investing in quality skincare, but it's got to be worth it. While I appreciate the hydrating benefits of the ORMEDIC Balancing Gel Masque, the time commitment and price point make it a bit hard to justify. If you've got the time and budget to spare, go for it. Otherwise, you might want to explore some more time-friendly options.

This turned both me and my mom’s faces red. We have sensitive skin. It doesn’t moisturize at all and feels like aloe Vera gel but you can’t even see or tell it’s on when applied because it’s like sticky water. I regret spending my $ on this.

Image Ormedic skin care line prides itself on using organic ingredients it their line. This skin care line is very popular in many skin care salons. Balancing gel mask is intended for use for oil skin type because it is hydrating gel mask. It contains: aloe vera, grape water, orange extract, lemon and turmeric extract, apricot, clover, coffee, pineapple, grapefruit, coconut, strawberry, sweet almond and vanilla extract. There are plenty of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing ingredients. This mask can be used 2-3 times a week. you can leave it on your facial skin 5-30 minutes. I recommend you keep it as long as possible because the mask is very hydrating for the skin. This product is suitable for all skin ages.

I am not entirely sold yet. To be fair, I only tried this once because I have too many masks to try right now. This mask is not too thick, so be careful when you squeeze the tube as a lot will come out. Because of its rather thin texture, it is very easy to apply to the face. The slight fragrance didn’t bother me, even though I prefer no scent for all my skincare products. I didn’t leave it on for the full 30 minutes, so I will definitely try to leave it on longer next time. I think my skin felt a bit nourished and not greasy. For your reference, I have oily combination skin that gets a bit sensitive depending on my menstrual cycle. I did feel a bit of sensation when I put this on my face, but there was no adverse reaction. I like it enough to finish the tube; usually, if I don’t like a product, I just throw it away because I don’t like to take a gamble on my skin. In short, 3.5/5 for now.

This mask comes in a box. The top of the box has a sticker seal, but the bottom does not. I don't see an expiration date anywhere on the box. The full ingredient list is available both in the Amazon listing and on the box, which I appreciate. There are many good ingredients in this, and I don't see any bad ingredients I would try to avoid. The opening of the bottle is safety-sealed. I really like this product. It's very moisturizing and soothing for my skin. The size is quite small, though, and the price is high, so it's definitely a premium product.

I love Image products and have been lucky enough to incorporate a few of them into my skincare routine over the years. While I'm not a big mask person, I thought it might be nice to try this and see. I had always thought the Ormedic line was for people with combination skin to balance out oil and moisture, but this mask indicated it was excellent for dry and dehydrated skin, so I figured I'd give it a try. The mask is a gel like mask, and it smells very fruity- possibly like a pear? It is a nice smell. The directions indicate to apply generously to skin (though does not indicate whether the skin should be dry or wet, so I've tried it both ways), and rinse off after a period of time. I found that the product felt like it dried on my skin before the timeframe was up, even after applying more, and to be fair, I applied a generous amount. After rinsing, my skin did feel soft, but I can't say that my skin felt any more moisturized. I think rinse off products probably aren't the best for those of us with dry, dehydrated skin. While applying a mask might be a nice ritual of self care, this one didn't seem to offer the surge of moisture my skin needs, and I'm not sure a rinse of mask would ever be as much of a benefit as an actual product that is left on (moisturizer or serum).
