Q: How long does it take to put together?

my fiance put it together and it didn't take him that long at all, then again he is a pro at these because I have an unhealthy IKEA addiction lol. I can say that it is well worth the price, it is very nice and sturdy. I keep my Instapot, Kitchenaid mixer and other heavy stuff on it, and it's just fine.

Q: Can the bottom shelves be installed on either side? I know the power sockets can be, and I'd like to know if the bottom shelving can be reversed.

The holes are pre-drilled, but I don't see why you couldn't use a drill and make new holes.

Q: Can you put a microwave 21in wide on second shelf?

If you mean the bottom shelves, no, the ones on the left are approx 18in wide. If you mean the 2nd one from the top, although it's wide enough it's also quite shallow, so I would not recommend trying to put a microwave on it.

Q: Can the wood be stained with wood stain for a darker look?

It feels finished, and water also beads on the surface rather than soaking in, so I do not think it would take a stain.
