The Python Wrap Iron Cord Protector by Tufflek is the easy, cost effective way to protect power cords and steam lines to prolong the life of your iron. After constant use and flexing against the side of ironing boards, the cotton protective covering often wears through, exposing the coloured plastic insulation of the electric wiring and the outer surface of the steam carrier tube. This can be unsightly and dangerous and could lead to a costly repair bill. The Python Wrap protective sleeve is easy to fit over existing cords and does not interfere with use of the iron, whilst at the same time offers exceptional protection against wear and tear. Made of tightly woven PET mono filament fibres, the Python Wrap Iron Cord cover is a ‘wrap around’ split sleeve that is easy to apply, is self securing and will stay in place and protect for years to come. Although the Python Wrap sleeve has excellent self closing properties, a multi use soft cable tie is also included to offer even more security at either end. On tests, this protective sleeve has resisted a minimum of 200,000 cycles of abrasive tests consisting of a 1KG weighted blade rubbing against the sleeve.
