Easy to take in and out--Read update
Well designed, holds my Plus sized iPhone and sticks well to the dash of my 2015 Grand Cherokee. No rattles! The spring loaded design allows me to use cases with my phone. Easy to take in and out. Update: Almost 2 years to the date of purchase I found that the suction failed during the warmer summer weather. I took it off, brought it inside, cleaned the sticky part of the pad and tried again. No matter what I did it did not seem to hold as it used to. It has been good but I'm at a loss for what to do in order to make it stick to my dash at this point. Nothing more frustrating than driving and having the phone fall, still in the mount. Initially I gave this a 5 and because it doesn't hold it's now a 3. Still a great design when it works but it's not consistent. Update 2 11/12/19 I contacted Kenu support and they sent me a replacement. I had to provide pictures of the base and my Amazon receipt. Within 5 days of acknowledgement of my email, I had a new Airframe! This one included a 3M dash mount to place on the dash first, then mount the Airbase Pro to that. This should help provide a much more durable seal for textured dashes. Support said any residue from this sticker could be removed with alcohol and should not look any different than the Airbase Pro itself. I'm a bit leery of trying this but it may come to that. Still a great experience with Kenu Support! Thank you! In the mean time, I've the sticky pad of the Airbase Pro with soap and water per the instructions on the website but all that managed to do was to leave soap residue on the gel pad. Even when I used a scrub brush, there was residue left behind which I think prevented me from getting a good seal. I then tried cleaning the bottom gel pad with alcohol, let it dry and then remounted. That solved my issue. Since I put that in place, I've had no issues whatsoever. It is absolutely worth trying to clean the bottom of the gel pad as well as your dashboard with alcohol. If that fails, write Kenu support and they should take care of you.

Excellent Smart Phone Holder But Clean It First To Help With Installation
This cell phone holder has a spring loading arm to hold the cell phone firmly and is easy to move, any smart phone should work with it. It has a swivel ball joint allowing you to angle it at angle you wish and seems to hold firmly in place, even with a big smart phone. *** When I got it I tried mounting it to my dash with no success, my dash has a slightly bumpy finish, not super smooth, I was convinced the Kenu couldn't work with my dash due to non smooth surface. I was going to return it but I decided to run it under the faucet with water and dish soap and just see if that helped, after all this is the recommended way to clean this product. Went back to reinstall it and wow did that thing stick to my dash, its really difficult to get it off. Kenu should be recommending that you first clean it before trying to install it ***

Flexible but manageable
Clean the surface where you wish to place it & make sure it's dry. the sticky part from the bottom isn't a suction cup but a sticky tape thing. I think it's only good for a 1 time use. Instructions say that you can always reuse it after using hot water & soap but it doesn't really work. Its really sturdy when place on & chances of falling are unlikely unless the surface isn't clean properly. Just be aware if putting it on the dashboard, depending what material is used, it can rip off the surface.

Strong, well-built, nice design, pricey....
I have somewhat mixed feelings about this product, but mostly positive. On the plus side, it's definitely a sturdy piece of equipment, even though it's mostly plastic but it has a very strong spring to grip your phone tightly and the plastic seems tough. I think it's well-engineered. The size and shape are also good. I was able to mount it on a recessed part my dash that's a little less than 3" deep. A fraction of an inch overhangs the dash surface but it seems to be holding just fine. Unfortunately, because the lever wouldn't close in the ideal position, I had to rotate the base slightly, causing a bit of an odd viewing angle, but that has nothing to do with the product. I could have mounted on the main part of the dash but it felt too far away for comfortable viewing. My dash is slightly textured and that hasn't presented a problem so far. On the slightly negative side, I was confused by the sticky surface and by reviews both at the Kenu site and here on AMZ that said to wash it first. Some clearer instructions would have helped. I'm going to be buying a new car in the next year. I've read reviews that say it's difficult to remove from its original position and one reviewer even said it ripped his dashboard material. I haven't tried to move it yet and probably won't until I get the new car, but I'm concerned both about damaging the existing dash and also wondering if it will adhere to a different location, and mostly, will it damage the dash surface on my new car. My biggest issue with this is the price. It seems over-priced compared to similar products, but the company offers a lifetime warranty, so if they really mean it, and anything goes wrong, there is that assurance. Overall, so far, I'm happy with this product and will update my review when I try to move it, or if anything goes wrong, like my phone falling out or the device not staying put.

Le socle est fiable et a un bon maintien. Utilisé cet été et malgré la chaleur, il n'a pas bougé. Petit, il est discret et maintien bien le téléphone.

I am an IT professional. This is by far the best mount. You will need to buy a GPS plastic circle to stick to your dash if you want to optimize this device capability. Own it for 4 years. Still function as new out the box.

The suction pad seems to be really secure (removing it was a tough peel) and it held steadily throughout the drive. Very well made too. No complaints.

I have to date bought 3 of these. By far and away the best phone holder I've come across. The depth of the arms allows a phone with a protective shell to be easily accommodated. It's a very well designed product, and deceptively simple.

Superb item! So effortless to use! Didn’t seem to attach to the dash bug attached reliably to the windscreen. Love it
