Coco Big Golden Book (Disney/Pixar Coco)

We bought the book first, then we watched the movie. So my 2.5 year old daughter just referred to this book as “the book about skeletons.” Her grandma was shocked, however, that we're showing this horrible scary book to a young child. I told her, “The kid doesn’t know it’s scary or horrible unless you tell her it is.” The point is, if your kid’s grandparents will be reading this book with your kid, then maybe not the best book pictures-wise. Otherwise, it’s a great book with a wonderful storyline. So after watching the movie and every time after reading the book, my 2.5 year old daughter says that she will always remember her daddy. Now let me go cry my eyes out because of how touching this is.

My family and I watched the movie and the next day I looked on Amazon for books, and bought this one. It was such a wonderful movie, and this book does a nice job telling it that is easy to follow & read. My daughter, age 7, loves reading it and loves when I read it as well. Highly recommended!

My 5 year old daughter loves for me to read her this book. It's a great kids book and story with great illustration. A good summarization of the movie.

This book is lovely!!! My 4 year old loves to have it read to her over and over again. Unfortunately the binding wasn’t very strong and after 6 months the pages are literally falling out, so I’m here to buy a replacement. I tried taping the pages back but with so many of the pages falling out, tape unfortunately just isn’t adequate to hold the book together anymore.

Coco is a wonderful story and the cultural aspects in it are delightful. Like many, I was tearful at the end of the movie. The author did a nice job covering the main points of the movie (it’s a lot). I just wish there was one more page (second to last) that emphasized Hector being able to finally cross the bridge and be with his family, and how he was honored in the town, instead of Ernesto. Hector’s story, in relation to Coco and his family, is also at the heart of this story.

It is an awesome book my son loves it too much we have to hold it while we read it or he wants to rip Dante and Miguel out of the book to hold with him. I prefer not to have him watch tv and he seems to accept me reading this to him instead of watching the movie so that’s good

Present for my nephew. I've bought the Moana Big Golden Book and just like that one, it is beautiful, well made, and the he LOVES it.

This was a gift for my son who loved the movie Coco. The pictures are great in this book.
