Heated Automatic Livestock Waterer, Heated Livestock Waterer, 304 Stainless Steel Livestock Water Trough Dispenser with Float Ball Valves, for Chicken Horse Cattle Cow Goat Pig

I purchased this heated waterer last winter. Never set it up because I wanted to run a heated hose to it and attach a heated 55 gallon water barrel...set it up for this winter and the heater for the bowl doesn't work at all. There's power, but the heater fails to turn on. Float works well in non-freezing weather.

Was a little worried with all the other low reviews, but I bought 3 and installed them in the barn for sheep and goats to have water that won't freeze over winter. So far at least everything seems good. Will keep an eye on them and update if there are any issues.

The drinker by it self is awesome but unfortunately after 3-4 Months of use the heater stop working, so in my opinion is to much money for a short time of use. We can’t finish the winter season and we are on need to figure it out how to keep warm water, but absolutely I will NOT buy another one.

The design flaw is the heater. It is too large to accommodate the float. In order to set float properly the heater needs to be removed. The bowl itself is of good quality but the heater really needs to be reengineered. Would return but have already installed them

Installed this after receiving it in Oct and now that its cold my chickens water is frozen over every morning - and now I can't return it - don't buy this defective unit

Would not recommend.. the heater is junk and it's not worth the price.
