GLOBEElectric 57499 Pratt 1-Light Track Lighting Spotlight, Matte White, Bulb Not Included

I bought a refurbished one. Couldn't beat the price. It was in the original box, although that was trashed (presumably by the person that returned it). The light, directions and hardware were all there. So far so good. But the description says "painted brass" and what you get is closer to brushed nickel. I needed bright brass. I solved that by spray painting the whole fixure (if you do this stuff or tape off where the light go to avoid coating the light contacts) and got what I wanted but the description of the colour is essentially inaccurate. It's probably easy to install if you have 2 people (always can use someone else holding the fixture while you wire) but I got it done by myself. It uses 50w bulbs (not included) and they are really bright! I looked for something dimmer and could only find 35W in that size, not 15W (I wanted to mix wattages because the idea was to light the hall and spotlight artwork). I will be installing a dimmer switch to take down the light a few notches for normal use, with the ability to punch it up to full strength when I need to look for something I dropped on the floor, LOL.

We remodeled our kitchen so we replaced our old-school fluorescent panel light and were looking for something that matched our decor better. This track light is exactly what I was looking for. The nice brass finish matches my kitchen accents (pulls and faucet) perfectly. Don’t be discouraged by the reviews that state the bulbs are impossible to install. I am no rocket scientist and was able to screw them on and off very easily with the help of the suction cup they included (smart!). Is it as simple as a regular bulb? No, but nowhere near impossible either. Each light’s angle can be adjusted to your specific needs. My husband was able to install it very fast and quickly. I am very happy with the purchase of this very classy looking fixture and the affordable price was an added bonus!

I liked the suction cup that came with the lights to aid in getting the bulb in place. The color both compliments the gold hardware on my cabinets and blends in with the wood beams they are attached to. Provides light without being so obvious as the white lights I had that they replaced with this remodel.

It looks good but one of the lights flickers at a certain dimmer position. not the best quality.

I like the look of this fixture and it provides great lighting flexibility but the bulbs are so hard to install that it's not worth the trouble. They provide a small suction cup that is supposed to help and it does a little but you can't see to line up the hooks of the bulb to the holes of the socket. And turning them in place is a nightmare. One bulb that I thought was secure, fell out after installation. The bulbs are 15 bucks for a pack of three...probably would pass if I had this to do over again...

Its a lot smaller looking in person. I was thinking it’d look Sleek but is just VERY minimalistic, definitely not a statement piece.Putting light bulbs in was not easy at all, took wayyyyy longer than it should have.

I read a lot of the reviews and I agree with most that putting the little lightbulbs inside the cans is a little tedious and slightly tricky. But definitely doable and this light is a perfect option for a modern day track light. It’s easy to install and I absolutely love the look—clean lines and a modern feel. It is beautiful once it’s put up (sorry I’m too lazy to take pictures LOL). But you can’t go wrong! For the price and value, this is an awesome light!

These are OK but these types of lights are notorious difficult to change the bulbs, and most of the LED bulbs they make now are textured so you cant use suction cups. I ended up sticking packing tape to the bulb face and making a little handle to help position the bulbs into the sockets.

Like this very much, and the fact that it comes with options in height as I actually used it differently than originally thought I would. Very attractive and clean look.
