It does the job
Husband says it works well. Centers things better on the lathe. This is his first wood lathe chuck although he has been suing his lathes for about 40 some years.

Smaller than you realize
All the dimensions were as stated... It's smaller than you think. I wish I had gotten a larger size.

Won’t hold tools square
Every tool I put In this has a wobble. I’ve checked the lathe and tools and have narrowed it down to an issue with the jaws on this part. Unfortunately I’m past the return window and Amazon won’t let me contact the seller to see if they’ll send me a good one.

Lathe chuck

I like this Chuck but...
...it won't fit onto my Harbor Freight (Central Machinery) lathe 3/4" spindle. I'm going to have to return this chuck unless the seller can help me with an adapterEdit - These chucks aren't really that bad. Obviously the first one didn't come with an adapter. I bought another for my rod lathe that came with an adapter but the adapter is not threaded all the way, leaving me with only 1/8" thread bite. So, once again, I'm gonna have to order another adapter.Common issue here is the adapter. Use that info how you will.

Well worth the money. Fast shipping👍
I did have some trouble when I went to reverse the jaws as I couldn’t get them to all meet at the same time. Come to find out the numbers were either missed marked on the jaws or the Chuck, once I tiger it out it works fine.
