Ultimate Ears HYPERBOOM Portable Bluetooth Speaker

I already have a Megaboom 3 which is an amazing portable speaker. We also Bluetooth it to the TV for sound that out-performs the TV speakers. Anyway, the Hyperboom excels in all areas. We had a housewarming party, and the sound filled the garden. Good low bass notes, mid range, and clear high tones well delivered. This is my go-to speaker for any track I want to listen to and enjoy well. It's incredibly loud, can put it anywhere in the house, and is great value for money. I was reluctant initially to pay for it as there's so many crap speakers on sale for the same price. But no regrets here. Worth every penny and use it loads. Whether classical, jazz, house, drum & bass, r&b, this speaker performs, and I mean really performs. This is as good as it gets for the price. Ultimate Ears wasn't a brand I had heard of before I bought the Megaboom 3, but I'll recommend this and the Megaboom to anyone looking for a quality product at a good price. Fyi, if the Hyperboom is within your budget - buy it. Find an open space, and play your best tracks, song after song after song. You'll love it. I hope you do as much as I do.

I've got a £3k stereo setup (Denon and Dali) and this speaker is as enjoyable to listen to and a good compromise when I want portability, that's all you need to know, I can't recommend it enough. It doesn't lose dynamic range to increase decibel output when maxed out like every other speaker like this. You can eq the sub with the app, the bass is a bit bloated stock and I find the auto room eq can be detrimental to the sound once you get it positioned correctly. Use the app and your placement in room to get the sound right (away from corners). It isn't hifi but it's the next best thing. Highly recommended. Oh and you can turn off any beeps and talking (annoyances), 'power on!' I don't need to know when I've turned something on. When you press the power button it actually just turns on and turns off and does it fast. No need to hold or double tap or any other nonsense. ***Just to update, it's September 2025 and I've still not come across something better than this as an all round, quality, great sounding speaker

Does what it says on the tin and rather well at that. Had a few of their products over the years and decided to go for the 'Big Boy'. Pro's: Sounds fantastic once you dial in the EQ as you like it via the app Vast Bluetooth coverage Can be linked to most of their range of speakers in series or parallel Price is below average for sound quality Con's: Cannot adjust EQ outside of the phone app, thus to get the tone you desire you have to approximate via the phone and 'try' before you get it right. No app for PC / smart TV unless you sideload Kodi or other software to replicate the phone app. Overall I'm happy and may even purchase a 2nd to use as left/right when in normal use or as dual mono to disperse sound over a larger area or in separate rooms. This unit replaced a Bose SP1 Pro : It certainly doesn't have the power output of the SP1 but I didn't expect it to give the same results which it does when EQ'd and this has an extra BlueTooth input along with Toslink too... Battery life on a full charge at high volume beats the SP1 hands down.

I have been a fan of the ultimate ears range for a while, this is the biggest and best. The bass and layered sound is superb and it can pump out some serious volume with no distortion. The app and user friendly controls are a bonus too. I did have a fault on my Hyperboom after 7 months, it stopped charging and would not turn on. This would bring my rating down. However, after a 20 min chat through the support chat on the ultimate ears website, a brand new replacement was mailed out, for no charge at all, excellent after customer care. Always keep your invoices!

True to its word. Sound and bass is wonderful. Design can fit into any corner. Battery life is good. I haven’t tested it but for my use it lasts enough. A but heavy so not your everyday carry in the backpack but if you needed to you can take it to functions and picnics etc.

Incredible soaker. I've had thousands of pounds worth of speakers sent most of them back. Being an audiophile I listen to a LOT of music so the sound is an absolute must for me. Had one of these before. I'd rather spend a little extra on this than spend loads of piles of rubbish, I've had echo studios, Harmon kardon, alsorts of quality speakers but this just blows them all clean out the water. The volume is insane, it's soooo loud when you want it to be, or you can change the settings and have it quiet so you can play this for a party or just chilling in the house without annoying the neighbours. The bass is so good, not like cheap seoakers where it just rattles. This vibrates the house. And it the quality does NOT diminish at higher volumes. Crsips clear and amazing bass 👌 . 10/10 for quality and sound. Can also connect via optical cable for the TV. Get two of them and yoy have surround sound home theatre. Incredible!

Love it! Use it on my market stall every weekend. Still sounds great after three years hard use. Bought a second one for my home. Highly recommended.

This is now my second speaker as my first was replaced for the exact same issue When unplugged, the unit will not stay powered on. It immediately turns itself off. This issue has been well documented, and Logitech refuse to acknowledge its existence. They have been reviewing my case for over a month now with no response, and I have had to escalate the issue to a complaint, to which I am still awaiting a response. Don’t waste your time with this useless company, and get a JBL instead

Testowałem bardzo dużo przenośnych głośników i wydaję mi się, że trudno będzie znaleźć lepiej grający sprzęt tego typu, takich rozmiarów i do tej ceny. Jeżeli ktoś rozgląda się za niedużym, wielozadaniowym audio grającym dobrze zarówno na zewnątrz jak i w domu to szczerze polecam. Daje 4/5 * gdyż brakuje tu jedynie radia FM i DAB+

j ai mis un peu de temps avant de poster, je voulais bien tester le produit. J écoute surtout de l électro, techno, Rap, funk et fait qq soirées avec l enceinte. Pour ce genre de musique le rendu est top même à fond sans saturation et elle me bluffe encore car elle est très à l aise, par contre si c est en extérieur, il faut être à 3 4 mètre max, plus loin effectivement ca manque de puissance, d ailleurs j aimerai l essayer couplée à une autre ca doit être incroyable. En intérieur ca envoie du lourd dans ma pièce de 45m2 et comme c est plutôt bas de plafond c est nickel. Le souci majeur est en bas volume je trouve, moins performante que d autres enceintes plus petites, je la recommande pour animer des soirées jusqu' à 20 personnes. Je suis conquis par le produit car je pense en avoir l utilisation adéquat. et j ai mis à peu près 2 mois pour la choisir en écoutant pas mal la concurrence marshall, Jbl etc... je recommande ce produit bien entendu

Perfect for garden

Ich bin von UE Boxen schon eine Weile sehr begeistert. Jetzt wurde es Zeit die Hyperboom zu testen. Der Ton ist Glasklar. Der Bass ist saftig. Das Bluetooth hat eine riesen Reichweite. Und der Akku hält extrem Lange wenn man nicht die ganze Zeit auf 100% hört. Wenn man Ihr etwas vorwerfen möchte, dann vllt das sie relativ schwer ist. Ansonsten bin ich absolut begeistert und würde Sie jedem ans Herz legen.
