A first rate piece of kit!
A first rate piece of kit! The stand is very robustly built and does exactly what it is supposed to. There's no wobble, it's stable and well made. It has a nice, smooth hydraulic action, and can be raised and lowered easily. This means that if you are tired of standing, you can lower it without removing the computer from the top shelf, and just sit. I have only one small quibble: there are a set number of positions, rather than an infinite number of adjustments, so you have to raise or lower the stand to one of the five positions available. As others have noted, it could be that your ideal position falls between two of the set choices. But I doubt that a few centimetres either way are crucial, and I think it's fine. I can't compare this with other models, but I can say that the smooth, easy hydraulic action is very impressive, and I would certainly buy this again. If you have back problems, as I do, this is an excellent product. An added bonus is that the keyboard tray can slide back out of the way when you're not using it. Well worth the money.

Great addition to the home office!
Bought this due to back problems from working at home. This means that I can alternate sitting and standing which has been invaluable. This is a great product, no need to set up just pop it on the desk and it's ready to use. It's so simple to use, works perfectly and looks great in the room. Fits my laptop and additional monitor easily. Extremely fast delivery, and fantastic communication and customer service as the wrong colour was sent originally but they arranged for the white one to be sent and the black one collected the next day.

Great for those wanting to help or prevent lower back pain
Good sturdy desk, hydraulics are a little stiff at first but this has been a godsend for me at home whilst I had a herniated disc and then once I was recouperating from a discectomy. I now use regularly to split up my time between sitting and standing. Sturdy structure - I have a large screen and a laptop on the top shelf. My only criticism is that I would like more of a bottom shelf as you can only put the keyboard on it and can’t fit your mouse as well. But I get around that and it’s fine. Good purchase!

Keyboard tray height cannot be adjusted
Really happy that I bought this product. It's very easy to lift up. At first I found it a bit stiff to get down but that seems to be improving. A couple of things I hadn't realised which are the reason it's 4 starts and not 5 are: it doesn't sit as low and flush as I'd expected when it's down (see photo 1) however the monitor is at a good height like this; it sticks out a bit when at full height (see photo 3); the keyboard height is unfortunately not adjustable which means if you want to look at the keyboard whilst typing you have your head at a bad angle. I solved this by putting the keyboard in front of the monitor and it was easy to use. I'm 5' 10.5" (178cm) and this is just about the right height for me when at full height. The monitor is still a little low unless I tilt it so I'm considering getting a bracket of some kind. Overall this is a sturdy piece of kit and very decent for the price. I wish I'd bought it years ago!

Simply perfect. A life saver for anyone suffering from back pain
This is an amazing product and the quality of after sale service from the seller made this purchase experience more positive. For someone suffering from herniated discs, this product is a life saver. It’s so easy to use, nothing needed to assemble it. Just lift and put on your desk. I bought the medium size and I’ve put on it a monitor, my laptop, a couple of stationary stuff and my coffee mug. The tray enables you to put a separate keyboard. I personally don’t so I use it for a mouse and a small notebook. It’s a perfect value for money and I recommend it 100%.

Very easy mechanism to adjust the height - just grip and ...
Does exactly as described. Very easy mechanism to adjust the height - just grip and lift or lower, it is a very smooth movement. The adjustable heights give good variety. Plenty of room for the monitor on top and keyboard underneath. I have been using this for a year now and I am very pleased with it and have no concerns. Well made, sturdy equipment.

No more back ache, recommended!
I had a small white desk and it was just not working especially with all the working from home lately. Yes it is expensive at £145 but really it makes a huge difference to my working day and there are a lot more expensive ones. I am lucky as the desk I had is exactly the same base size as the riser so it looks like one compete unit. It came in one piece even the pull out shelf was attached, so no assembly required. It's very easy to operate although I would have preferred grips on both sides, one to hold and one to make it go up and down. It is quite big when in standing desk mode as it comes forward instead of straight up when extending the riser so make sure you have space behind you. Ignore the sales images they are misleading in size proportions. Check out other reviewers photos for a more realistic comparison. Mine has a 32 inch monitor up top, a tablet to one side and I use a wireless keyboard and mouse. It's 100% improved my daily work routine.

Sturdy but a bit small for the price
Bought this riser a while ago and it is still standing. Top feels a bit thin. I wanted to buy a monitor arm to attach to it, but I feel like it will break the wooden sheet. I have a 27'' monitor and once placed there's almost no space left on the desk. You can probably arrange 2x27'' displays but that will result in bad viewing angles as the sliding tray doesn't come out that far. If standing a 27'' display might even feel that you're too close to the screen. Tray also feels a bit small. Having a full sized keyboard will leave you with almost no space for a mouse (that is if you push the keyboard all the way to the left/right, which also results in a weird angle to type/look at the screen) After a couple of months the holding 'breaks' are almost constantly tightened and it's getting harder to move it up and down. If you've got a small display and a small keyboard I'd say this riser will do just fine for about 4-5 months. Though, if you're like me and you want to have a bit more desk space and multiple displays, you're better off looking for something bigger.
