Lacome îs high quality and pricey but worth it. La Base is applied after cleansing, toning, and moisturizing, to provide a smooth base for foundation. I was skeptical when I first tried this product. I wasn't sure that it would really make any difference. It does make the foundation smooth on more evenly and give a much improved finished result that looks healthy and natural. I've been using for years.

There are two makeup products that I cannot live without, and they both happen to be Lancôme. I don’t buy expensive makeup. I almost exclusively wear Neutrogena products. However, I will gladly spend the money on Lancôme makeup primer, because it is worth every penny. My skin feels like silk after I apply it. My foundation spreads so much easier, stays on longer, and requires less foundation for a full coverage look. I no longer need mid-day touch-ups. And again, I also don’t need to use as much of my foundation as I did with other primers to achieve the same look, so it saves me money in the long run. It minimizes my pores, and for me, prevents breakouts. (I’ve had some issues over the years with Rosacea-type flareups, cystic acne, and yucky blackheads on my nose.) This primer is a MUST for me! I’ve tried DOZENS of other primers, and none of them can even hold a candle next to Lancôme primer.The other Lancôme product I swear by is Lancôme Cils Booster XL lash and mascara primer, just in case you were wondering. That stuff is worth its weight in gold, as well!

Wonderful product! If you want a silky smooth, finish with your make up, start with this amazing base. It feels so luxurious, and it sets your make up for a long lasting glow.

This is a great primer, goes on smooth, minimizes pores, makeup applies well over it. A little goes a long way.

A couple of pumps is all you need, use it after your moisturizer and it keeps makeup on all day......smooths the skin. This makeup primer is the best of the Best!

It's nice and silky!

This is a must have to smooth out the base foundation and eye colors. Using it everyday has made applying makeup with much more confidence.

Cheaper than the mall! Same results! Highly recommend!
