Seems a tad expensive for what it is, but still makes great bracelets quickly and with ease once you work out how to use it. I’ve made a few bracelets for my girls and their friends and I’d expected it to start wearing out or gripping the string less, but it’s holding up great, so in terms of value for money, I still have to give it five stars!

Works really well. Used as part of my city & guilds embroidery course - fun and relaxing to use too. I’d recommend getting the silicone bobbins to go with it - no tangled threads if you use them.

Good product

As with most things ordered from Amazon the delivery on this article was well within dates given. For somebody who wishes to keep their hands busy and produce articles that can be given as gifts then Kumihimo is the way to go. The 5.5in disc here is great for making flat weaves and by using the instructions on the attached guide gives a good variety in pattern and width, following the information given makes it simplicity itself. Once managed it makes you consider expanding the range of items you can make and the supplier of this disc can provide different types to allow more variety.

As described

This is a very useful gadget. Not just for making bracelets. I have a couple of dogs, one of whom is ball mad, but only for the ball on a rope. We have no end of tennis sized balls that she's chewed the ropes off of and this disk makes it a very quick job to make replacement ropes with. Nice and strong and tightly woven so she can't chew them too quickly. Very happy and for jewelry making there are tons of you tube video ideas to get stuck into. This seller is one of my favorites. There stuff is always quick to arrive, keenly priced and good quality. I highly recommend them.

Works well makes it so easy

The kumihimo disk is brilliant value for money. It is simple enough for my 10 year old daughter and her friends to use without any help, but with the huge variety of kumihimo patterns readily available on the net; is challenging and engaging enough for mom to keep busy too. We have just been on holiday and it kept Katie occupied for the entire journey. A great alternative for making friendship bracelets and something that they can do as a group of friends. We have been using crochet cotton which is cheap and easy to find. Enjoy!
