HUAWEI Flip View Cover Case for P10 Plus - Brown

I've had this case for over a year now (since I bought the phone) and so I thought it was time to write a review! I'll start by saying that what prompted me to do this was that the case is falling apart and needs replacing. This is not bad for a case of this price, but still it's a shame.In terms of protection, this case scores pretty low. The first problem is the fairly minimal design, meaning the case is only held in place by the four corners. Although initially snug, over time these have got very loose so now the phone simply falls out of the case very easily. The minimal design also means that, even when in the case, the edges of the phone are exposed to scratches etc. Finally, being a flip-case, the front of the phone is only protected while the case is closed, but if you were using the phone, or simply as a result of tumbling through the air, the front can easily open exposing the phone's screen, and there is no protective lip to the backside of the case.In terms of other features, the case rates a little better. I haven't had any problems with the auto wake/sleep when opening/closing the case, and personally I quite like that feature. You can even interact with some features (e.g. the alarm) through the transparent window, although touch sensitivity through the window is pretty poor. The clear back is ok to show of the blue back, but it doesn't look nearly as good as the phone 'naked' and it's also a magnet for dirt. It's also rather slippery - a bit better than the glass of the phone itself but you still need to be careful about where you put your phone if this might be an issue (e.g. in the car).Overall, if you just want something to protect your phone from scratches etc in your pocket, and like the sound of the flip-case features, then this case is probably OK for you. But if you want something which will actually protect your phone if you drop it, or has other useful features, I would look elsewhere.

Best phone case I have ever owned!I've had this for over a year now and it's stood the test of time. You can tell its an original Huawei product as it integrates perfectly with the phone, both in terms of fit and features.What's great about this case is that when closed you can still answer calls with a swipe across the transparent front and it'll also display the time through there as well. When open it is also opaque enough to conceal whatever you're typing from prying eyes should you need to!As for durability, apart from the colour, the fabric is as good as the day I bought it. I'd expected it to fray and rip, quite a bit of it being fabric, but all that's changed is the colour due to general use of picking up oils from your fingers etc.So all in all, if your considering buying this then just do it. I know it's a bit more expensive than most others, but the quality and features make it well worth it.

Product arrived in minimal packaging but upon inspection looks well made, the phone sits in a brace, much like most of these flip case designs. It does not have any magnetic closure it just flaps about but from a user perspective it does what it needs to do really well and simply covers the phone screen for some extra protection.I would say that the leather appears to be real and I would expect to wear slightly longer than those PVC ones. Being a geniune product I have high hopes and so far it appears to be well made, the case has the sufficient cut aways for the camera and side controls of the P8 with the camera and flash being seperated slightly which reduces some light bleed into the picture from reflecting on the case.

Amazing price for a genuine Huawei case. I guess it's because the P10 is quite an old phone, but usually a branded case like this would cost four times as much.The case itself is, as you would imagine, a perfect fit. The viewing panel on the right side shows the time without opening the case. It also allows calls to be seen and answered without opening the case - very handy!This isn't a case that would protect the phone from a big drop but it gives good scratch and bump protection and doesn't add bulk to the phone.

The only case worth buying for a P9+. It is very well designed and very professional looking, I was concerned that the case doesn't use real leather but so far, I haven't had any issues with the fake leather. If anything it works well with the low(ish) price point of the case. The notification centre is well integrated and overall, it's just a nice touch; though don't expect too much from the little glass display, it only displays the time, SMS & calls notifications and your step count. Every other case I have bought for this phone ended up cracking or falling off after a few weeks, but this one is withstanding the rigours of daily life well.

This case has been my backup case for a few months now. It was my primary one but dirt and grit managed to get under the opening flap and scratched the screen protector badly all along one side. Although this was not the screen it I annoying to then have to replace a screen protector every time your phone gets a little dust in it. It does react to notifications on the screen but can be digital see in outside conditions.

As an official Huawei phone cover, I had high expectations and I was not disappointed. The case is of a great quality and the way the standby screen kicks in when you close the cover on the phone is a nice touch.At this price (£8.99), it is a steal - any P10 owner MUST buy one of these. Best bit - the back is not covered at all so your camera will be unaffected.My only concern is that the connection between front and back seems a little flimsy so whether it will endure the torture of daily use, only time will tell.But at this price, I have seen worse more expensive cases.
