The Best Upgrade You'll Make To Your Festool Guide Rails
Prior to purchasing this I was using the standard Festool screw clamps on my guide rails. They work okay but reaching underneath and fiddling around to screw up the vertical handle is a time consuming faff, and never felt like the best solution. Festool ownership is all about simplicity and ergonomic excellence, and that's why I invested in the upgrade to this quick action clamp. Using it has transformed my work flow.Two parts come with the clamp, an end stop and the main clamp body. Both secure to your guide rails with a quick lever action. The things I love about the system are the super-quick and efficient pistol grip squeeze action clamping and release, and the fact that they stay put on the rail when you remove it after the cut. My old twist action clamps are a simple slide fit into the rail groove, and annoyingly tend to slide out and fall on your feet unless the rail is kept horizontal. That's no longer an issue, and what with the super fast location, adjustment and removal abilities, this quick clamp is definitely a joy to use. I haven't used my twist clamps since and I highly recommend investing in one.

Quick and efficient piece of kit
Fantastic piece of kit, makes it a lot easier and quicker to place track in position. I have a SCHEPPACH track and it fits perfectly, was slightly tight at the start but running it up and down a few times sorts that out

Time saving and brilliant rail clamp
Invaluable kit for working single handed with sheet materials and the Festool rails. Set the stop st one end and tighten using the trigger. Saves walking to the other end of your work to unclamp, saves time. Love it!

Works on Milwaukee tracks
Bought this after seeing on Youtube and it fits perfectly on my Milwaukee plunge saw tracks.

Really handy accessory but could be better
This is very handy when attaching a guide rail across planks or boards. Its quick to use, but not 100% accurate as you tighten it up. Can move about a 1mm or so, so not for precise working.

Clamping par excellence
Simple, beautifully made from the highest quality components and does exactly as claimed. Typical Festool design, nothing added or taken off, brilliant for clamping saw tracks to sheet material.
