I did a ton of research because I heard some batteries or cables were causing overheating issues due to improper power loads for the device. I have experienced no concerning heat levels even in the Texas summer.Charges my Quest 3 fast enough so that regardless of what I'm doing it never loses onboard battery. If you're planning to do some extremely unhealthy event where you keep your headset on for 8+ hours, buy a third party link cable that will also keep it charged. Otherwise, I enjoy VR for sometimes up to 5 hours when I'm in an obsessive episode and the battery has no issues keeping me going, and I often go 2-3 days without charging either my headset or the battery just because it supplies it with that much power. Also, by putting it on the back of the headset, it's drastically improved long term comfort by balancing the weight.Highly recommend.

This actually does make you headset way easier to play,it feels much more balanced and the extended life is great

Bought two of these a few months apart so they could be swapped. For some reason the original one was better than the second one. The battery would retain much longer on the original.

So I personally took a risk on this because of an idea, I wanted to never have to plug in my headset when playing vr or streaming vr content, but I already had the kiwi design battery strap. But I saw these battery packs, bought two of them, and it was a great idea, if you have one charging from zero and one a full battery by the time you're done with the full battery the other will be fully charged! With the kiwi battery strap it makes it even better because i didn't have a long cable coming from the battery pack.

This is absolutely essential to making the most of your Quest 2 headset especially for long sessions. I barely notice the weight and it's distributed perfectly as a counterbalance to the headset itself. It's easy to put in place even without taking your headset fully off. And the little attachment to hold the wire makes it so you don't have the wire dangling against your head. It charges your headset faster than the battery drains while playing. So if you are on low battery, you can put this on, let it charge up to the 70s/80s, and then take it off and charge the charger while you play for another few hours. Then you can just rinse and repeat so there's minimal interruption.

Good enough as a battery pack but the attachment point flops around pretty badly on the original strap system. Caused my headset to fall off (first headset floor strike) due to the awkwardness of the attachment and the overbalance of the weight against the straps.charges quickly enough. The supplied strap system and USB-C cable made cable management a non-issue.

Bought the Kiwi strap without battery and decided I needed to add the battery later on. Isn’t too heavy and works to counterbalance the front of the headset when placed toward the back of the strap. Includes Velcro to control the included cable. Simple to charge and connect to the quest.
