It is what it is.
This is just a black repaint of Preceptor with a toy accurate head sculpt. Unfortunately this mold doesn't allow switching the shoulder cannon to the opposite side which I find annoying but other than that he's a good representation of Magnificus sans his little Micromaster buddy. Would have been nice to have given him a Targetmaster version of his partner in crime, Ga'mede. The figure suffers from Perceptor's shortcomings like the extremely hollow backside and lackluster accessories but other than that he's fine.
