Electronics SWE-815 300W 8" Active Subwoofer, With Custom Enclosure, Remote Control, 4Ω Single Voice Coil

This is a quality bit of kit. If you want to suppliment your factory installed system or you only have a small car, this is the sub for you. You don't need pre-outs, so you can keep your factory head unit and connect this up to the rear speakers. It has a built in line out converter. So its a total package, no seperate amplifier or LOC needed. The remote makes it really easy to adjust the bass to suit the song or your mood without having to fiddle with settings on an amp or your head unit. Power wire really needs to be attached to your battery. It can be awkward to route the wire through your firewall and into the engine bay. I used the existing rubber grommet for the main wiring loom behind the glove box. It was awkward, but I got the wire through using a thin stiff piece of wire threaded through, taping the power wire to the end and pulling it through. You also need to attach a wire to a switched 12V feed when the head unit is on, so a multimeter really comes in handy to find the wire you need. You get all the wires with the unit, so you shouldn't need to buy anything else. I recommend soldering the wires where required so you get a good permanent connection. I soldered the ignition/stereo live and the rear speaker connections. If you self install, there are a few video's online that can give you some tips. I bought this as a 'open box' special for £85 and its well worth its money.

I recently purchased this in-Car Subwoofer and I am impressed with its powerful sound and overall quality. However, I must say that the installation process was a bit tricky, despite the fact that the product did come with everything that was needed. The subwoofer produces deep, resonant bass that adds an incredible dimension to any music played in the car. It is well-constructed with sturdy materials, which ensures that it can withstand the vibrations and bumps associated with driving. However, I did encounter some difficulties during the installation process. Although the product included all the necessary components and wiring, it took some effort and time to correctly connect everything. This may not be an issue for experienced car audio enthusiasts, but it could pose a challenge for those with less experience. That being said, I was ultimately able to install the subwoofer correctly and the resulting sound was worth the effort. The powerful bass adds a new level of depth and richness to my music listening experience in the car.

Installed this in my vw polo. More than enough for the small car. Speaker definitely packs a punch. Very simple to install. Just have to run some wires through the interior trim. Very strong good bass. Makes a huge difference. Recommend this to everyone looking for a first time sound system upgrade in their vehicle. Worth the price tag .

One of the best compact sub-woofers on the market for a reasonable price! Wow, where do I start. I was looking for a sub that would not take too much space in the boot since I got a small hatch ( Mazda 2). You will see how it fits in the boot on pictures attached. It is worth mentioning that boot space is very limited on Mazda 2 in particular. At some point I was even considering getting one of those under seat subs like Kenwood KSE SW11 and Pioneer TS-WX130DA. After numerous hours of research I found Alpine SWE 815. It comes with all wiring harnesses and instructions. Nothing additional is required in terms of wires, clips etc. All included. Alpine was cheaper at the time of purchasing (£99) in comparison to under seat Kenwood SW11 (£120) and Pioneer WX130DA (£130). So if you are on a budget go for Alpine. It took me many hours to install though. However, cable management took most of that time. Bare in mind. Actual installation time is not that long. Also, Alpine SWE 815 comes with a wired remote which allows you to select different frequencies and adjust bass according to your taste. Quite useful actually. However, still have to figure out some settings. Overall, I can say that this sub is a great value for money. Performance wise it is loud enough to make my car shake. It looks really nice, feels really good and sounds amazing. Will update this review in about 6 months or year to see if there are any faults or downsides.

You’re probably looking to see how loud this is, I had fair few subs back in the max power days so I know what’s expected. I’d say if you have a standard factory sound system in a small or older car then this will be an upgrade, not shake the whole car to pieces loud, but it’ll more than add the bass that’s missing and you’ll be happy for the money you spent. If you have a newer or large car with a premium factory system like Lexus, Volvo, BMW then this won’t add much, you’ll notice it but it’s not adding anything to what’s already there. I fitted this in my older RX8 with a Bose system which had ok but not great bass to begin with and this is a perfect upgrade, I want to keep the car light and doesn’t take much space. I wasn’t sure if it would do for my newer Lexus with a Mark Levinson sound system and after fitting in the RX8 it don’t think it wouldn’t have added much at alI to the Lexus, I would need a single or twin 10/12 with 800+ watts to have that rattle the whole car amount of bass. Overall it’s a great small sub and the controller is nice to have when the partner has a headache. If you have a lack of bass to begin with or a small car this is perfect.

Prodotto eccezionale sia per la qualità costruttiva che per quella sonora. Il prodotto si presenta molto solido e compatto, curato nei dettagli, nulla è lasciato al caso. Molto comoda la canaletta posteriore per il management dei cablaggi. I collegamenti sono molto semplici e veloci, le istruzioni sono molto chiare a riguardo. Molto comodo il telecomando cablato per le regolazioni di volume, taglio in frequenza e fase. Io personalmente ho portato il telecomando vicino al sedile del guidatore per avere le regolazioni a portata di mano. Passando al sound c'è da dire che la resa è da togliere il fiato. La potenza che eroga questo piccolo sub è spaventosa. Io tengo il volume del sub a 1/4 della sua potenza massima e la sua presenza si sente molto bene ma non copre mai le altre frequenze rendendo l'ascolto della musica davvero piacevole. Se ci si vuole divertire di più basta portare il livello a metà e inizierà a vibrare ogni cosa in macchina, voi compresi. Tra l'altro il sub è montato nel bagagliaio di una Citroen Xsara Picasso, auto molto grande e dispersiva, ma il sound è sempre perfetto in ogni posizione dell'auto. Avere una buona autoradio ovviamente aiuta.

Gekauft für Ford Transit Transporter, steht im Fahrerhaus mittig am Boden. Der Bass drückt echt heftig und ist mit der Fernbedienung super easy zu steuern. Sämtliche Kabel sind dabei, außer das Cinch Kabel zum Radio. Die Cinch Adapterkabel für den Anschluss an die Lautsprecher ist auch dabei!! Die Qualität ist außergewöhnlich gut. Der Subwoofer ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet. Gesticktes ALPINE Logo!! Zu diesem niedrigen Preis ein absolutes Schnäppchen!!! Unbedingt kaufen....!!!!!

Solo decir que estoy tan contento con el resultado, que no he podido resistir a no escribir un comentario y yo no suelo escibir casi ninca en amazon. Aquí mi pequeña historia: Primero instale unos Hertz ESK 165L delante y unos Hertz DSKv165.3 atrás, que al principio los escuchaba sin el subwoofer. El sonido cambio por completo esta claro y me gustaba pero faltaban muchos bajos. Cuando active el subwoofer no me lo creía los buenos bajos que tenia esa caja para lo pequeña que es... A mi me gusta escuchar musica no muy alto pero con calidad y ese subwoofer con todo el equipo que tengo me da bajos de sobra. Estoy mas que contento porque cada vez que subo en el coche con ganas me pongo alguna cancion :))) También comentar que he instalado en las puertas y en el maletero 2 rollos de Reckhorn Alubutyl. Las vías delanteras están conectadas a un amplificador Mac Audio Titanium Pro 2.0. La radio es una Sony MEX GS820BT. El coche es un Ibiza 6L. Incluso creo que solo instalando el subwoofer con los vías originales del coche el sonido seria 10 veces mejor, ya que las vías originales apenas tienen bajos. Comento eso porque seguro que mas de uno quiere instalar solo el subwoofer y yo te recomiendo que lo hagas.
