Fender Electric Guitar Tremolo Springs Set of Three High Tension, Stratocaster, Black

This is one of those parts that is essential when sorting a locking trem where the player wants heavier strings.A lot of locking trems have provision for only three springs, these high-tension springs will each do the work of 1.5 - 2 regular springs, thus enabling a proper set up with heavier strings.Worth having around in the guitar workshop, saves much time and fiddling around!

fit perfectly my ST-style guitar and hold the tremolo bar pretty tight (wich is the reason why I installed extra springs).

One of the springs I recieved produces a buzzing noise even when tightened. The other two are fine.

Fitted this to my strat that must have had three weak springs - 10 gauge strings were lifting the bridge WAY too high with the claw at it's tightest. These high tensions fixed that and resulted in a properly setup tremolo and increased tuning stability.

Finally got my Floyd rose system up and running perfectly again!

I bought this because i needed springs with higher tension than the regular ones. As the description said.. When I got them, they turned out to be just like the ones I had in my guitar. Certainly not a higher tension..

definatley would not class these as high tension,more like medium. Having said that, the quality is good and they do the job
