Good switch easy to use

I went to my local B&Q first, since that is where the original distribution box came from. they no longer stock any MCB or mains related distribution.Got back, logged on to Amazon, 2 minutes later the item was ordered and delivered the next day. It is slightly different to the originals but still fits and in fairness that is not a complaint. it is just an observation for anyone looking for MCB for original B&Q range.

Fitted easily and works perfectly in my 6 circuit breaker ESR box. Also bought one of a different ampage 6 months ago, both spot on

I was not sure whether this would provide a cure, but the trip curve in this version of breaker has cured a ring main occasionally tripping when using dish-washer or washing machine. It is possible my previously fitted breaker was too sensitive, but anyway this has fixed the problem).

The common negative bar needed bent to accommodate this trip as it is not quite the same size as the other trips in the consumer unit. It looks out of place but hopefully it will work. Quickly delivered and a decent price

It fitted into the existing distribution board quite easily.

Replaced an old unit that no longer worked. Delivered within 20 hours. New security lights working great now.

I bought this 40 amp MCB for a new welding point in my workshop, fits my single phase consumer unit and seems to be doing its job but time will tell otherwise a recommended item
