Black Metal Lantern

First off, just add to your cart and check out now! I searched for a week looking through reviews on lanterns, and I kept coming back to this one. I'm so glad I did!! What made my decision is that it's metal and has that antique worn look to it ya know. The size is perfect, it's pretty lightweight. I bought a led candle for mine to use in the mornings when I clock in for work, I work from home and it's 4:30am and super dark out still so I wanted something I could put on my small console table. This thing is super cute. I will say i had 2 little issues with it, it's a bit of a hassle to get the top on at first because the holes are not lined up correctly, but i managed to just work with it, you can't tell at all anyways that it's not even at the top and plus I'm not carrying this around the house, it's purely decorative with the exception of the candle I purchased separately for a dim light in the mornings, 2nd is when I received it, it had small little shards of glass and flaked glass inside it, took me about 20 mins to get most of it out using a damp paper towel. So do please be careful if you receive yours the same way, as I wouldn't want anyone to cut themselves. I suspect mine may have been a return 🤷‍♀️ Regardless of those 2 issues I am absolutely in love with this thing and do plan on purchasing a 2nd one along with the same candle for our bedroom, the candle brand is "TECHLONG" Flameless Candle Battery Operated 3D Moving Flame Flickering, 3" x 3" Ivory Real Wax Electric LED Candle, and fits perfectly inside this!! I hope it's ok I put the candle brand in this review, I figured most people buy these cute lanterns along with a battery operated candle anyways. This metal lantern + the candle are perfect together and set a beautiful ambience atmosphere. Buy this lantern today my fellow amazon buyers!! I love the style of this. Easy to assemble (2 screws). Looks cute. But...they candle is aweful. It not bright and when it's lit it's very yellow orange. Not like a real candle. Fortunately I have a set from elsewhere that I use for Christmas. I will be swapping it out for sure.

Although I wouldn’t call this lantern large, it is lovely! The details are delicate. It looks lovely on my back porch. The battery operated candle I bought fits inside it perfectly. It works perfectly for where I put it.

The lantern was packed well, but the product itself is disappointing. It’s described as "black," and looked black on my phone, but in person, there's a lot more gold showing through than in the seller photos (see my pics). One of the lid screws fits fine, but the other barely tightens and sticks out because one hole is not big enough for the screw. The front door is bent inward, and I can’t fix it without risking the glass. It looks nice from a distance, but up close, you can see the flaws. I probably wouldn’t have bought it if I had known. I could return it, but don't want to have to deal with spending the time taking it apart, packing and having to go to a store to send back something that should have been right the first time.

I bought 2 of these as a gift and they do not disappoint. Metal, real glass, well made, and beautiful design. Just as described at a great price!

Look pretty but have started to rust after one light rain. Expensive.
