Mine works fine, the cable came attached and it also included the tool to twist and lock it into my existing housing.
Took a little effort too remove the old light and pull in the new, but I was able to cut off the old light, then tie the cables together, wrap the "splice" tightly with electrical tape and pull it through. It wasn't a snap to pull in. Had to pull it back a few feet a couple times, but it finally made it and it works fine. I use the electrical power light switch, which is located in my house, to switch light programs. A little cumbersome at times, but I didn't buy the optional controller. Instructions on how to do this came with the light. I may buy the controller some day. Mine also came with the locking ring to twist it into the already installed housing.Added a photo. This is the only light in my pool. The pool is 15’ x 30’.

i used this product at least a total of 4 hours and it stop workingthe product is worthless
