Brilliant Game for the bigger SAO fans
Bought this over a week ago it came within 2 days very quick delivery, the game itself is very good if you are a huge SAO fan you will love it even more (like me) A lot of people with find the combat very repetitive as it is but i still enjoy it a lot. The is game is like a virtual novel and SPRPG game in one! All of the original characters and more are found in this game and you can play as any of them not just Kirito. I highly recommend this game if you're an SAO fan!

Great for newcomers and fans alike.
This is good for both fans of the anime or the new comers. It has all the characters you love however it does not run along the same story as the anime/manga. Some characters have different background stories on how they met or came into the Virtual world etc.Good Gameplay with easy combat controls and a great flying mechanic which takes some getting used to. You can check out me playing this on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBQhBIZkBQgThere will be story spoilers as it is the first part of the game. The Game itself is in Japanese with English Subtitles.

I wish I would have never bought this game.
First of, I barely ever take the time for reviews, but this game is so horrible, that I have to. I LOVE the anime, so obviously I bought the game on day one last year. I played it for a couple hours and thought it was okayish but lost interest to keep playing. So about a week ago I picked it up again, telling myself I'm gonna complete it. Spoiler: That didn't happen. Why? Because the game is absolute crap. Just to sum up a few things that made it so bad:- The endless, really unimportant, cut scenes that left you wondering wtf was going on because it didn't benefit the story at all. Why did they have to put a 2 minute crappy "concert" into the game, that was ridiculous.- The way you distribute and learn skills is just too complicated for a game where you basically just H&S and grind your way through the game.- You're more or less forced to do all side quests which are super repetitive and the "extra quests" are just lazy beat the previous boss fights.- ALL dungeones look pretty much the same, no creativity whatsoever, super lazy game design.- The AIs in your party don't help at all and most of the time you got to revive them and help them out because they keep getting themselves killed as they are reckless af and just jump in.- The "story" is the most boring and stupid thing ever, didn't spark any interest at all and this Seven person is shady af. If I wouldn't have watched the anime I would've wondered why every girl was all over Kirito and why EVERY character was so darn annoying. I love every single one of them in the anime but in that game they were getting on my nerves big time.- Some of the trophies are ridiculous "Beat an extra quest without taking damage", yeah right how does that work if you have to constantly save your AIs?!- When I finally made it to the last island, I found out I only had to clear one dungeon and can already face the boss, the other dungeons judt weaken it. Alright I thought why not give it a go because I cba to clear another 500 hundred dungeons that all look the same. Well yes, SPOILER the boss is near impossible to beat without weakening it. It restores it's health almost instantly and can instantly kill you with one blow... That was when I just couldn't do it anymore. I told myself I would complete this game because I love the anime, but I just couldn't do it. They tried desperately to long this game out which led to super lazy game design and frustration. They had the opportunity to make a really good game here, right. The SAO anime/manga gives the perfect draft for a great video game, but they managed to make it into a disaster. I really don't understand how anyone can like this game.I really regret getting it day one, paying 50 quid for it. At least I could trade it in for Fallout 4 and now have a good game to play after this disgrace of JRPG.*I tried to give zero stars but apparently I have to give at least one. I give my one star to the artwork of the case, that was quite nice*

Repetitive and too much fan service
As a gamer and who's into anime. I can normally overlook the odd fanservice scene. But in this game it's fan service after fan service... Poor taste and the gameplay doesn't make up for it. You've got some very simply basic attack moves and you can dodge and block, gets boring very quickly. Everything is just repetitive and there isn't a lot to do. Very disappointed since I am a sword art online fan. :(

Average
Sword Art Online: Lost Song is the third video game in the series, based on the Sword Art Online Manga series. Having not played its predecessor, I can't speak on how this compares to it.The Pros:• A great cast of characters, all worth using due to the different skills they are able to unlock.• Controls are solid and easy to learn.• Multiplayer is fantastic particularly with friends, whether playing quests or playing PvP.The Cons:• The character creation is a complete joke with only 2 hairstyle options, 2 hair colours and 2 skin colours for each race. Also, each race only has 1 gender as an option.• Enemy types are largely just re-skinned throughout each new level, though there are a few new ones sometimes.• Dungeons, as with enemies, are largely recycled throughout.• Flat story, though I doubt many are going into it expecting otherwise. If you're a fan of SAO and have friends who intend on picking this up as well this may be a worthwhile purchase, but if those 2 things don't apply to you, you may want to give this one a miss.

Great game, disappointing delivery.
The game itself is great and price is fine but it arrived late as well as damaged which was disappointing.
