Great tool
Was trying to get a tap head off the value, tried for a week, no matter what I did to get off, it wouldn't budge, tried soft mallet underneath with cloth, nothing, I was dubious and thought do I want to pay £20 for this tool if no good, plumber would have been 3 or 4 times the cost. This little beaut got it off straight away and with minimum effort. Grinning from ear to ear (how sad)...

Can work well on highly corroded taps.
I used this on two tap handles with very severe corrosion on the splines. It would not work with simple hand pressure but did work when pump pliers were applied to the knob. I was worried that the knob would detach or the thread would be stripped but the device seems to be extremely robust. If you don't have pump pliers, a suitable spanner or vice grips should supply extra leverage.I think the tool could be improved by providing metal flats to accomodate a spanner.

A useful addition to a DIY toolkit
Had this for a few years and it's been great for removing stubborn tab heads. Only drawback is that with some capstan tap heads the holes in the tool arms are too small for the tap arm blobs. I get round this by using two strong S hooks slotted in the tool head slots and hooked under the tap arms.

Niche product
I bought this tool for one particular job. They didn’t work for it but i suspected they may not and knew that was a risk. The tap I needed to split was always going to be a challenge. I can see they should work in principle and expect they may come in handy at some point before I retire! If they do I’ll update this review…..

Removed seized Tap Capstans easily
The Tap Head puller is an excellent tool. I tad taps with the Capstan Heads seized on the Faucets since before the Pandemic. They were impossible to move. I was amazed to find his easily they were to remove with the tap head head puller. It is easily my tool if the year for 2024, and would recommend it without reservation.

Simple mechanism but so effective
I had a very stubborn handle that was refusing to budge. Tried all kinds of heavy tools to try and move it along with soaking it with all kinds of fluids! This came and sorted the job in a couple of minutes from opening the pack!

Very useful tool
Very useful tool, easier to use than anticipated. Both taps had been in situ for about 15 years and, as expected, were stuck fast. This allowed the heads to be eased off without damaging the remainder of the fitting. However, I did have a 'revival' kit' so replaced the tap heads as well as the internal cartridges but would recommend some form of protection for where the tool grips the tap; something like a small piece of cloth or perhaps a rubber band to prevent scratching/damage.All in all, slightly pricey but very pleased.....now, where's those bath taps.....
