STAEDTLER Design Journey soft pastel chalks, assorted colours, pack of 12

Used on thick watercolour paper, you need something with a bit of 'bite' to it, sketched a tulip as a test piece using just a bit of tightly rolled paper towel with very rewarding result. Colour range, alarmingly vibrant on initial use, mutes nicely with a little control and mixing. Square sticks so no rolling off on their own. A hard line can be achieved with very little pressure. Blend out extremely well to give a soft edge if lightly used. Colours mix well too, one on another. Altogether a useful set and at this price (I've looked elsewhere) an absolute bargain. Would definitely recommend.

Nice to use, vibrant colours, blend well, I would recommend these pastels. You might want o buy a bigger box with a larger selection of colours though.
