Works great!
Was worried it wouldn't work but it works great. May need a DVD player on your laptop though. I got one from Microsoft store. Affordable and good.

Not compatible with windows 10 pro.
Not compatible with windows 10 pro, even after downloading the recommended program. Crashes about 30 seconds after inserting a disc and won't eject the disc unless you unplug the unit and re power it back on. Tried multiple times with different types of discs for about 2 hours and then gave up. Unit returned. On the plus side shipping was fast and the unit looked nice.

Exactly what I needed
I needed this to import music from cds to ITunes. Installation was fast and easy. Doesn’t feel cheaply made. Price was reasonable. Packaged quite nicely. Would definitely recommend this product.

Efficient Drive
I am pleased with the purchase so far anyway, as I have only burned CD`s. It is fast and easy to hook up with 2 separate cords provided. I will know more once I see how a DVD works. I am upgrading my internet soon- as the fiber group is coming to my neighborhood, thankfully.

Windows 11??? Not Completely
I recently upgraded to a Windows 11 laptop which does not have an internal disc drive. I tried this external drive because the description said that it worked with Windows11 which it does to an extent. It will play a CD and it will play a DVD but it will not burn a CD which occasionally I still have a need to do. I have no need to burn DVDs which was never listed as a feature. For some users with basic needs, this device may suffice. I've got to keep looking for an external unit that I is completely compatible with Windows 11.

Ready to use!!!!
My daughter removed the packaging and plugged the little external drive into her computer and began to download music. She didn’t need to read any instructions, the drive just worked as you would expect it to. Great buy!!!

It works!
When inserting a CD or DVD, it wants to pop back out, so hold your finger on the slot and the CD or DVD becomes properly inserted after bouncing off your finger.
