Spend extra and get these
We routinely replace these filters for our LG refrigerator using the notification on the fridge to replace. Even then, the water always tastes fresh. We never use bottled water anymore using our own insulated bottles. I know there are “generic” replacement filters available, but I trust these from the manufacturer of the fridge. For safety reasons, also. Always flows well after primed as instructed. Never has leaked. And water and ice always great. Yes, the filters are expensive but definitely worth it.

Last a long time
No noticeable leaks. Lasts a little over 6/mos. scent less but it may need to wait a few minutes to flush through the system depending on what kind of refrigerator you have.
