Gear AidTenacious Tape Repair schwarz One Size, Black

I used this to repair a tear in a large divers trolley bag. It was along the zip, so I was very pessimistic it would work. It did! A few years on and the bag is still going strong. The bag was black so the repair is almost invisible. I’ve used the tape since to patch the interior of a pair of shoes! Really good product, which I have bought again.

Was able to repair the small tear on my down jacket! (Though was tricky because of how powerful the stick of the tape was!!If you're looking for powerful tenacious tape, this is the product for you!!

Seems to be holding up fairly well but is definitely lifting at one edge. Will do till I can get a professional repair.

Leather chair ripped and this solved the problem

Repaired a 4mm burn hole in a small canvas suitcase. Had to build through three separate layer of case using it back to back. With a bit of thought it worked brilliantly. Easy to cut and apply. Seems to have stuck well to canvas. Weight of fabric tape is soft and plyable when free from its backing paper....yet very strong. Delighted to find a black version as others for sale on other sites are clear and would be useless for my purpose. Remember to cut a patch with curved edge to prevent any possibility of corner lifting.....yet don't think it will.

It fixed my super-expensive black Rossignol ski jacket pocket in a crude DIY way. Given that Rossignol were frankly dismissive and unhelpful of my plight I turned to this tape to rescue my jacket for another season or two and it worked. It's is a bit like duct tape, but very very strong. Bare in mind that it isn't matt black, it has a bit of a shine to it, which is a pity; but on a small tear it's hardly noticeable.

Great stuff to use to mend waterproof fabrics. Used in a coat and trousers so far and potentially in a sports training top.It’s good stuff. Seems a little expensive however cheaper than purchasing new items if you rip them.

Fixed my green Montane Padded jacket perfectly. Easy to cut out and apply. I used a hairdryer to give it a little more longevity and adhesion. Wouldn’t know it is there once applied.

Tape is extremely versatile and holds well especially to Goretex. I used it to patch some rather large holes and used the tape on the inside and outside of a bivy bag. Material also appears waterproof and the edges, when rounded, do not peel up. Will be using this on all my outdoor and Goretex equipment.

I have three cats and they like to shred everything in sight. I made the mistake of leaving my black puffer jacket out in the open and of course someone got it and tore a hole in it. I was debating buying a new one and then thought I'd google how to repair such a tear, and this product came up so I decided to try it. It's great, it sticks well and you can't even tell it's there - highly recommend this product!

It applies very well and it very light. Now we time to see how long it holds.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR
