Great Keyboard Case
Fantastic service from the Arteck customer team when my keyboard case stopped working. An email to them and four days later I had a new keyboard case as the old one was still in warranty. It’s a great keyboard which turns my iPad into a mini laptop. It’s well made with a great battery life and recharges within two hours. Recommended!

Transformed the usability of an iPad, especially when paired with a mouse.
Bought this for my partner and she absolutely loves it, it has transformed her iPad into a laptop. Paired with a bluetooth mouse she can now do everything from word processing to photo management but in the evening detach it and watch tv shows/movies in the evening. Good construction, fits well for the money and keyboard provides good feedback again in line with price point. Battery seems to last a good amount of time and was easy to connect to iPad.

Great but not screen protector friendly
The best case/keyboard combo out there, hands down! Looks and feels like an actual laptop. Keys and trackpad work flawlessly. The detachable keyboard is a great idea, allowing you to switch from tablet to laptop mode instantly. A bit on the heavy side but acceptable. No backlight (would be a nice touch!) That being said, 2 flaws. 1st, the incline backwards is nowhere near as the product images suggest. You can incline to 100-110 degrees at most. Most people won't mind but i found it uncomfortable, especially when working with it on my lap. 2nd (and most important) it's not screen protector friendly. The case snaps in such a way that the tempered glass gets "squeezed" in such a way that it produces an unsightly bubble in the corner or side, that can seep into the visible screen. For me that was a huge deal breaker, so i (VERY reluctantly) returned it. If you don't use screen protectors, or don't care about the bubbles, just get it! I doubt you'll find a better one out there at this price range

Really good all round
Easily fitted to iPad. Gives secure connection and ease of use. Makes like a MacBook effect. Reliable and recommended. The first one had a battery issue. I reported it and a replacement arrived the next day!! Excellent customer support and 2 year warranty on the product including the replacement. Can’t beat that👍

Adding a trackpad really helps making the iPad usable for productive work.
PROs I'm really impressed by this keyboard, it helps make the iPad actually pretty usable for doing some work. Using the keyboard and trackpad really helps and the multitouch makes it a lot easier to switch between different apps. It is nice and sturdy and properly turns the iPad into a clamshell micro-mac Cons:- - It would be nice if that useless § button could be replaced with escape in software (you can use capslock as escape though, so it's not awful) - It is a touch heavy, but also sturdy, so can't complain too much

Great device, and great service
The keyboard and case turn the iPad in to a nifty and powerful laptop device. But a fraction of the cost of Apple's own proprietary devices. My family and I have used Artech devices for many years, and purchased several models, as we upgrade our iPads. The level of customer service and responsiveness to questions is always excellent. Can highly recommend.

No customer service and no response to a warranty claim
My Arteck iPad case and keyboard was fine for the first 11 months but then failed completely. The battery would not recharge ( after repeated attempts at charging) and the keyboard died. I used the form on the Arteck website to make a warranty claim ( it advertised a 24 month warranty and 24 hour turnaround) but I received no response. Additionally my emails to the advertised email address were advised to be undelivered - no such address. I see the company is based in China and presumably my complaint went there. I had bought their product previously though it was not the cheapest, as my previous case/keyboard from them had lasted well. I won't make the same mistake again and will certainly avoid all Arteck products, given my experience of no customer service. UPDATE - subsequently following my foregoing post and an email which got through, I received a reply to my communications ( including an apology) and an offer, quickly implemented of a replacement with further full 2 year guarantee. So I have amended my previous 1 star to 3. I can't give higher marks as it shouldn't have been so difficult. - but I will now consider them again in future.

I have owned an iPad since 2018. It and I are inseparable. Now, I have a new iPad, so it got a new Artek that fit the 11th gen model. Early on, I bought an Artek aluminum folio with BT keyboard and I’ve never looked back. In fact, I’ve owned two with the previous iPad. Essentially, the Artek turns my iPad into a small laptop. The aluminum case provides great protection (survived multiple drops), ease of use as an iPad holder plus option of using either keyboard or touch screen. The keyboard battery lasts a long time, and as long as you don’t turn the keyboard off or run out of battery, re-pairing isn’t needed. This latest version of the Artek overcomes the two drawbacks of previous versions: 1) there is now an on/off button near the USB-C charging port with indicators as to whether the BT is charged, and 2) a second blue light connectivity indicator tells you when you can pair your keyboard with the iPad. Previously, I always had to refer to the instructions to find the key sequence that enters pairing mode, but now, it’s on the keys and near the light. I’d like to note that the keyboard doesn’t feel cramped with the new iPad that is physically larger. Full-size keys are a joy. Some have complained about the case not fitting an 11th Gen iPad, but it certainly does. HOWEVER, you have to insert the deeper channel side (eg, the side next to the keyboard) first, then snap the upper edges into place. The tight corners ensure that the iPad is held snugly. I should also note that the “screen side” is held to the keyboard by magnetized metal prongs that will detach if you want it to. Overall, the build quality is excellent. I highly recommend this product for the 11th gen iPad.

I had a keyboard for my previous iPad and it was so-so. This keyboard is so much better. I’m typing this review on it and I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now. Here are the things I love about it: 1. I love the battery life AND the ability to see roughly how much battery life remains. Like I said, I’ve had it for 3 weeks and it still shows mostly full charged. By pressing the Function key (fn) and the right command button, it will flash once for each 25% of life. So 4 flashes means I’m practically fully. Super handy. I haven’t manually turned it off since receiving the keyboard—it shuts off automatically after a period of inactivity and pressing any key quickly reactivates it. 2. I love the track pad. It works really well. But I also love that I can turn it off so I don’t accidentally activate it when typing a lot. 3. I love the various function keys (volume, Spotlight search, and the Home button). 4. I love the weight and feel of it. It makes my iPad like a laptop. While the keys are slightly more closely spaced, it was easy to get used to—and I type A LOT! And it easily balances on my lap. This was a big requirement for me. I like to work sitting in a chair, so I didn’t want to have to sit at a table or awkwardly balance it on my knees. 5. BEST FOR LAST: The fact that you pull the iPad away from the keyboard to use it without the keyboard and that it’s a magnetic attachment feels very premium. I bought a separate “case only” to use when I didn’t need the keyboard, but I don’t think I’ll even use it. It’s so nice to be able to just easily remove or attach the iPad. Three small things some may consider drawbacks—I knew these before I bought and they don’t bother me at all. 1. It doesn’t have backlit keys. 2. There’s no loop or anything for an Apple Pencil/stylus. 3. It only opens and closes to maybe 60° and it doesn’t spin. Price was excellent, fast delivery and it’s just overall my favorite iPad accessory. I did not receive any compensation or “freebies” for writing this review. I just love the keyboard that much!

I ordered this one because I had such a good experience with my previous Arteck iPad case. (That iPad grew so old I replaced it.) I use the keyboard heavily, 30+ minutes a day, so function is important. Pros of this case: - Same good quality so far. Same dumb Arteck name (I understand, Chinese companies have to come up with something) - Good keystroke feeling; actually, I don’t even notice the keys; that’s good. - Sleeps on close, wakes and connects on open - Love the detachable screen, using ForScore while playing piano - I need a space on which to rest the heels of my hands while typing ‘cause I usually do so on my lap. I’m not sure how keyboard users get by without this—doesn’t it bounce around too much to use? This one has it, so I ordered it. - I dropped it within an hour of connecting it to my iPad for the first time. Protected everything beautifully. Cons: - No forward delete! Come on folks, what’s hard about that? That’s part of what I loved about my previous case. The lack of a forward delete is like a car with no 2nd gear: you can get by, but there’s no good reason to skip it. - Trackpad is meh. If it were quicker I’d use it, but it’s like a slug in January. I turned it off. - Important functions such as volume, brightness, etc. are now controlled with a function key, which slows me down and is quite unnecessary. They could have just used a second row of keys as on the previous keyboard. Cons #1 & 3 almost made me return it, but better the devil you have than the one you don’t. And the quality/solid construction are worth a lot.

This is the perfect solution if you want a laptop-like experience from an IPad. This product has both a trackpad and keyboard and it’s the only product like it that is designed with a compatible case that can be detached from the keyboard. Trust me, I did a deep dive search and it’s hard to find one with that feature. If you want to protect your iPad, and want to be able to use the IPad while the case is on,with and without the keyboard at times, this is the one for you. The keys work well and there are a lot of shortcuts/ hotkeys you can use. The trackpad also has gestures and can tap to click, right click, and regular click. The trackpad is small and has the tiniest bit of lag but it works for my purposes. Note that the keyboard is not backlit - That is my one comment for improvement. The case is made from a silver hard plastic that is made to look like aluminum, and it is solid without being too heavy. I love that I can see the color of my iPad on the back and sides. It pretty much looks just like a tiny MacBook. Except this “tiny MacBook” has a tablet that removes from the keyboard/ trackpad whenever you want. The attachment between the iPad case and keyboard part is held together by strong magnets. The whole thing (with iPad inside) is about 3/4” thick. The best thing for me is that it works great on a lap for typing because it holds the angle you chose without wobbling and it bends pretty far back for multiple viewing angles. It also works on a table and has little rubber feet/pads for grip. Great product at a great price!

I have never been disappointed with an Arteck keyboard. And never did it seem more essential than with my 10th generation iPad. I should not have tried to experiment with a lesser brand which wasn’t stable and had a larger desk footprint. It had to go back. The Arteck is perfect. It gives just the right amount of weight for stability, the case has a bit of texture for grip, and the functionality is superb. I also like the feature that you can lift the iPad straight up off the case, flip it around, so that the keyboard is not in your way when you’re using only a screen. And still, it adjusts for the perfect viewing angle. The tricky part for me is that I have to consult the manual to accomplish pairing. Not something you do every day, so I forget the steps. But you only have to do it once and the directions are clear. Just remember to charge and use the on switch on the side. This is my first Arteck keyboard with the on and off switch. That’s a new feature to get used to. Also, I needed to turn the track pad off for typing.
