Is the Cappuccino a silvery pink pearl colour as suggested ? if not can anyone recommend one please.

It is more a brownish colour. Try the Naughty Plum 045 and I think that will be what you are looking for

The old fashioned trick of applying your lipstick, blotting with a piece of tissue paper and reapplying once more always works a treat.

I have been using this lipstick for some years now. I ordered from Amazon next day delivery the lipstick is a beautiful and I do get a lots of nice comments it is a really beautiful colour I have ordered 3 more to keep as they will one day discontinue making it. Get the lipstick while you can .
