It worked with no issues
I have purchased batteries for laptops before and had issues with it stating that charger won't charge or battery isn't available, etc. This one went in just fine and works with no warnings or alarms so to speak. Bought for Dell Inspiron 5593.

New life for 5 year old laptop.
Went in fine. One tab seemed a bit out of alignment, but I was able to install it and it is charging fine. Would be nice if they supplied one of the power cords with the battery.

EASY replacement
My computer died and it was from battery failure, all the computer repair places wanted $150 to diagnosis the problem even though I said, it needs a new internal battery, and it would have taken 2 weeks for them to do it. WITHIN 12 HOURS OF ORDERING THIS BATTERY, I HAD IT REPLACED AND COMPUTER BACK UP AND RUNNING!!

Order directly from Dell, save yourself time. Doesn't work.
It took sometime but I finally installed it. It was about halfway charged. I put my charger on and it kept going down. I thought it was my charger so, I ordered a cheap one from ebay. Well i got it plugged it in and it was not charging. I actually threw it out and got a new one directly from Dell. Well ive had it on for several hours and its still zero percent. I know now its the battery. Be careful of the cheaper ones you order on here.
