Would recommend buying, and would buy again! Please see below for pros/cons
Important: One review that almost prevented me from purchasing stated that when a user holds down the backspace button words are not automatically deleted. Also, if they held down the arrows, it wouldn’t automatically scroll. The reviewer stated that a user had to push the buttons consecutively in order for the keyboard to delete or scroll. I am happy to report the manufacturer must have fixed this issue because I can hold down the delete button and it will automatically erase words and the scrolling works if you hold the arrows down too!Overall impressions of this unit when unboxing is that is does seem very sturdy and well built. Connecting to Bluetooth was smooth and effortless.Pros:1.) Keys are tactile and responsive.2.) Keys do have light feature so this keyboard can be used in low lit conditions.3.) Magnets are strong and hold the tablet very well.4.) Adjustable tilting function is very nice and holds the tablet steady at all positions.5.) Keyboard itself makes the iPad so much more versatile!Cons:1.) With the tablet tilted all the way backward, it makes the keyboard fall backward as it isn’t balanced. If you don’t have your hands on the keyboard on your lap it will backward, but no issues on a flat surface so could be worse.2.) Wish it could be connected via wire so I can use the Bluetooth in the tablet for my headphones. Using keyboard and headphones at the same time is not doable.3.) Hands do feel kind of cramped typing on a small keyboard like this, but that is expected.4.) With the limited real-estate on the keyboard itself, the manufacture has stacked functions into keys. While I am thankful for the abundance of functions, you will be referring to the legend at the bottom left of the keyboard often to remind you what shortcut enables these functions/shortcuts.Overall, I would definitely purchase this unit again as I am very happy with it. As a matter of fact, I typed this entire review using it!

Alittle gripe about the grip
I got this because I thought the ones from Apple were ridiculously overpriced for what they are. It’s easy to pair the backlit keyboard which has a nice touch but maybe not for someone with large hands.A few more color options would be nice.My only complaint is the strength of the magnet. It’s ok on an angle that also helps support it but when drawing, it kept falling down.Ended up having to put the iPad on an desktop easel.Otherwise I’d recommend it.

Great With a Few Flaws
The media could not be loaded. This is exactly what I was looking for, and it works perfectly with my ipad. I wanted something that was more solid and sturdy than other keyboards so that I could type while being lazy in bed. This is perfect for that, but there are a few flaw/things that sort of bug.1. The biggest flaw is that the trackpad is so close to the space bar that when I'm typing, my thumb accidentally brushes it and then I'm typing on wrong line, wherever the cursor had been on the screen. This is aggravating! However, I'm slowly learning to hold my fingers a little higher so I don't brush it.2. The backspace key is not only a little further of a reach than I'm used to, but you also have to tap it and erase every letter one at a time. You can't hold it down and have it continue to erase. This is also true for the arrow keys. You can't hold them down, you have to tap to move one space at a time.3. I wish the screen tilt had at least one more option, so the screen could be at different angles when needed. As it is, you can only have it all a perfect 90° angle to the keyboard, or it clicks back once to give you a little more of an angle.Other than that, this the perfect keyboard.

Heavy
I love that the keyboard has a trackpad, but it is heavy. It also doesn’t fold flat like the original Apple keyboard. The iPad attaches like a magnet not a snap on.

Sturdy and keys are nicely lit
I like this better than several other models out there. Unfortunately all keyboards are a wee bit heavy nowadays.

Love it
Exactly what I was wanting. Love that I can position my screen any way needed and the backlit keyboard.

YES!
This is a jewel indeed. I had a bit of trepidation dropping an additional $250+ for an item that was only going to get me half way to what I truly wanted. Keeping with my theme of being patient and researching paid off. This keyboard/case combo is exactly what I was looking for. If there is one thing that can be said about the Apple infrastructure it is there is some company making some product that is in-line with an OEM product. It has all of the functionality and ease of use that comes with being an Apple associated product. I chose not to rate the battery performance considering I only just received and started using the item just yesterday. If it is terrible I will amend this review accordingly. Thanks!
