Works great over my IP network
Brought this product to feed my Sky+HD signal to another room, works great over my home IP network. Picture & sound quailty is excellent, sending 1080p.Have since purchased a second one to split my BT YouView signal.Simple to setup, just plug in power, connect the HDMI & network cables at each end. No other setup is required.I have a home network with 802.1q capable switches, so have created separate VLAN's for both SKY+HD and BT YouView. These devices will need to connect at 100m/full duplex(which is the maximum I could get them to connect at), and the maximum utilisation I have seen is around 60mbit/sec.I initially run into an issue where one of my switches would negotiate at 10m/full duplex when left on auto speed/duplex settings, which left a picture with no sound. Please be aware of this if running over an IP network!Overall I am very satisfied with this product.

Worked for HDMI monitor, not for Black Magic box. Sellers impressive
It wasn't suitable for the purpose I bought it as the receiving box (a specialist one) wasn't compatible. But it certainly managed to send a clear HDMI signal well over 100m on a cat 6 cable with no loss of quality that I could detect and for most domestic purposes it will work very well indeed. The sellers were very quick; within hours of becoming aware of the problem they had responded with several emails, clarifying details and enitrely willing for its return. Highly recommended.

Works fine over cat5e cable.
Simple to install. Worked perfectly over direct cat5e cabling and hdmi splitter to send audio/video to second room. (From virgin TiVo) My cabling is under floors and walls going to first floor so don’t know exact length but I suspect that it’s about 50-60 metres

Does not work
I’ve been trying out ways to display and control my pc from another room using my wifi mesh system (ASUS XT8). So transmitter in one node, and receiver in the second node. That way I don’t need to run cables across the house. This kvm does not work as stated! Says it can do hdmi/usb over ip and after plugging it in, nothing. At best, just some random artefacts appears on screen.I’ve bought a cheaper kvm that only support 1080p 60hz, and that works absolutely fine in the same setup except for some random drop outs. I wanted to try this 4K version (even though I only need to display 1440p at best) to hopefully not have those drop out from the cheaper one, and use my audio interface through the usb 2.0 available on the receiver. But none of it worked. Back to the drawing board. In the meantime I’ll send this one back.

Must use cat 6 cable
Using these to work Xbox one x, note with cat5e cable I could get a movie to play no issues but games on Xbox in playable. Tried Xbox games using cat6 and works fine at 1080p won’t do 4k but 1080p is fine for me.Suggest only buy if using cat6 cable my cable length is around 20 meters
