Easy to use and reassuring gadget for testing UK mains sockets
I purchased this to check if my electrical sockets were wired correctly. You just plug it in and it buzzes if all ok and shows 3 red lights. If there is a problem it shows different combinations of lights telling you what the fault is. Good value for money especially if it saves lives.

Is all well?
I have purchased this as I was reluctant to change a very expensive double socket with usb sonnections, I was pretty sure it could not be faulty. Having tested the socket, I realised that electricty was geting there, but plugged things were not working. I changed the socket, tested it with this and following the lighting advise, was secured in knowledge all was well. I decided to use this in all my sockets to check quality of my circuits, as like all people, plugs etc have been added to the original house electrics. Super happy now knowing, the electric sockets and circuits are running perfectly and are in the normal circuit readings.
