What's the diameter of the tip? ... and can I fix the length of the cable?

The cable is adjustable up to 30". 3in x 1.5in x 0.5in is the dimensions.

How many millimeters wide is the tip of the cable? I need it to pass through a 5mm hole. Thanks!

I bought this but it will not pass through the hole on the zippers, which is what I was wanting it for. However, I am able to run this cable across the front of my backpack and lock it, then use small padlocks to lock each zipper to the cable.

I brought this product however, it didnt have the paper/manual inside about how to set code or open it. Now I've locked it and cannot get it open.

From manual : step one, set to preset code of 000. step two, move reset lever to the up and right position. Then adjust the combination to your desired code . Step three put reset lever back down to save the code you chose.
