I have a skin condition called HS, as a result I can sometimes get painful lesions in awkward places like my armpits. I first found out about these after having surgery for an HS related issue and they used this as a form of bandage when the skin was healing and the wound was shallow. Recently I had a lesion open under my dominant arm which was really painful because of course it was constantly being rubbed by clothing or skin. I had previously tried using normal plasters or bandage over it but when you take those off, it essentially pulls out any of the loose healing from the inner wound. So I switched to duoderm and won’t look back. My lesion is still healing but its healing quicker and is no longer painful as it’s protected. I actually cut down the patches into smaller ones so not to waste it and it works perfectly and has saved me all sorts of pain from my HS.

Purchased these to treat some 'road rash' after a cycling accident, they are really excellent for dealing with this type of skin loss and injury.Strongly recommend DuoDerm when dealing with largish areas of lost skin.

Hospital didn’t supply enough after a operation so I choose to buy soon more, much needed and they work as advertised

After struggling for years with a rash on my leg these dressings have worked wonders. No problems with adhesion and they are extremely comfortable. I’m now rash free for the first time in years.

These dressings are easy to use. found that they are simple to put on affected area. When on they have great adhesion and stay on for the recommended 3 days before they need replacing

I am a dimwit and gave myself a nasty burn from the kettle (leaned over it whilst it was boiling). Had heard of a hydrocolloid dressing so used a generic supermarket brand for a few days. It was pretty unsuccessful so decided to look for something more effective. I couldnt be more impressed with this dressing. It stuck beautifully, so nicely I forgot I was even wearing it. I had significantly less pain, no allergic reaction or sensitivity (very sensitive skin), and it was fully healed after using for less than a week. I was so surprised as I was expecting at least a few weeks due to the severity of the burn.Since then I have had some dreaded maskne which I read these could be used for....works for that too! Well worth the money!

I purchased these to use for acne that has popped. Sounds gross I know but after doing my research I learnt that they work for that... I cut the size I need from one of the dressings to cover the spot, (slightly larger than the area of the spot itself), place on and leave overnight and they do an amazing job at pulling all the oils and yuk from the spot whilst also aiding healing. If I don't need to go anywhere I just keep changing to a fresh piece each time the dressing turns white from what its drawing out until it stops getting anything. As I suffer from hyperpigmentation this makes a huge difference to scarring also. Had previously purchased the spot plasters from a Korean brand which were effective but for the sake of having them cut to size for you and the fact they are clear, they just aren't worth the price. With these you get much more for your money and can cut to any size you like. Will continue to purchase.
