Too strong at times. Does not work with beards.
I was recommended this trimmer thinking it could trim beards as well as cut hair, but it really only cuts hair. I had problems adjusting the blade as well, and the instructions don’t help a lot with how to use it properly. I had to look up youtube tutorials and even that wasn’t much help. I honestly wish I could get a refund because this ended up not being what I was looking for. But I am finding some use for it. It may not be good for fine-tuning things like beards, but it is very useful for cutting down large quantities of hair in single spots, and I could use that at least. If you’re looking for a beard trimmer, look somewhere else. If you’re looking for an alternative to going to a barber, this could definitely work, but you better know what you’re doing.

Amazing trimmer! But absolutely change the blade and bracket setup. Definitely a level up by the company philthy blends. It’s a peace of plastic you can attach a better blade too.I will say the jrl clipper is amazing out the box.
