Easy as pie to use. Just plug it in and windows find it straight away. Appears to work well, even at some distance from the router. It's quite chunky so needs some space around the usb port.

Comes with a CD with the drivers on, but don't use it. Just plug the dongle in and it should be configured by your PC. If you need the CD, you probably run a version of Windows which is so old you should upgrade for security reasons! Haven't tried it on Linux but the chipset is listed by the seller in the Q&As as "RTL8812BU".Stable and works well. Just be aware the AC (WiFi 5) is no longer the latest and greatest WiFi although in reality it should still be fine for most cases.

This wifi dongle is good value and produces excellent wifi speeds for my laptop. It is a bit chunky and awkwardly shaped but works very well.

Really good piece of kit not a massive amount to say on this one it literally does as it says on the tin. Straight out the packet you just plug in to the USB port and connect to your WiFi and thats it. The connection is strong and doesn't cut out really good piece of kit.

Some older devices are somewhat hindered by their WiFi performance. So a USB solution like this one is ideal to breathing new life back into tech.The WiFi dongle comes packaged with a driver disc and a small guide. The dongle has two antennas that can be orientated over two axes. The body of the dongle is made from plastic and is not the best quality. Though it should withstand normal use. The guide essentially explains how to install the drivers from the disk or a dropbox link. I didn't user either as windows immediately identified the dongle. Personally I would be a little cautious about using the disk. The drivers where from 2019 so may not even be the most up to date. The dongle is dual band supporting both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. I was able to connect and test both bands. In terms of performance it is difficult to fault. I experienced good speeds with no dropout. My only real complaint is the design. Because it is relatively long it can protrude from you device. This leaves it a little vulnerable. I wouldn't have minded pay a little extra to have a USB dock.The value and performance from this dongle is excellent. My only complaint is the quality of some of the plastics and vulnerability due to the design. In most applications this won’t be an issue.

The dongle is supplied with a driver CD (don’t see many of those these days), but on a modern system that disk shouldn’t be required with the operating system automatically installing appropriate drivers when the dongle is first inserted.Build quality is ok, with the housing and antennae being of fully plastic construction. Good enough for day to day use with care. You would need to take care if you were handing this out the side of a tablet or laptop.My use case is based around a desktop PC that has no onboard wifi, requiring the use of an external solution, that’s where the Raigya Wifi Dongle for PC comes in.The Raigya Wifi Dongle for PC isn’t the fastest around, however it does support 2.4GHz (good range but not that fast) and 5GHz frequencies (shorted ranger, faster speeds). I’ve been using the dongle intermittently for a few days and it’s been fine, certainly good enough for web browsing and general internet tasks. I can’t comment on range is my PC isn’t that far away from the router, but the dongle does have decently sized antennae.
