The FeatherPro Bow Pro; Great product, 3 in 1 feather board
What do you get when you combine a FeatherPro with 2 Tablesaw Featherboards? You get the FeatherPro Bow Pro! Works better than expected. I’ve been using their portable saw feather boards which work good but can be tough to feed material especially if it varies in width some as the feathers are more rugged and not as flexible. This FeatherPro is awesome as the feathers are much more flexible and have more feathers for more support. I love how I can have it stacked for running boards vertically but they split into 2 separate units and they provided all the extra parts so I can use them as 2 separate feather boards. You can also sandwich them on top of each other without the black spacers or you can make a FeatherPro sandwich with their other feather boards. I should’ve started with this set first as it still works on my portable table saw and router table and I’ve basically got 3 tools in 1. Great product!

BOW Products FeatherDUO FP3 - Featherboard
I purchased this duo feather board to make ripping boards in half, width-wise, on my table saw. The foam "feathers" are flexible, yet stronger than I expected. It works great in holding a board or plywood flat against my fence for resawing. I also found it worked fantastic on my jig to cut raised panels on my table saw. (picture attached) If I weren't so cheap, I would replace all my other feather boards with the BOW products.... but I have a problem replacing something that works -- even though it is not as good as the BOW feather boards.

How did I not get this sooner?
Never bought or used feather boards before and really didn't think they would be a necessary thing in my hobbyist, entry level woodworking. I was thrilled when I got a jointer recently and was going to be able to actually square up some rough stock... until I went to square the opposite face of a former 2x4 and it kept tipping off the table saw fence. At this point I'm already at my wit's end on how to stop that from happening without getting into a (more) dangerous operation than resawing on the table saw.In my interneting of trying not to buy a planer that would cost as much as my table saw, miter saw, and jointer combined I saw some mention of using feather boards with resawing. I was going to try the traditional plastic fin style at first but I found several strong endorsements for these and decided right before ordering the other ones to try these first. I am so glad that I did.Soon as I got them assembled, which was real easy, the first board end through and night and day difference. Didn't move off the fence, took so much less effort to move through the saw, didn't have to try and push it from multiple angles at once, and most importantly was able to keep my hands further from the blade and maneuver the wood in a way that was less likely to have something go south. That they added extra kickback protection too was just an added bonus. Anytime I can use them while making a cut now they're on the table. The only thing I have to complain about was that I could not figure out what the difference between the grey foam feathers and the black foam feathers that come on the single are. They sell replacements for both, and the plastic holders appear to be the same between the single and double, it's just not clear if one or the other is better (or better for single vs double).

Very well designed, high quality feather board with replaceable foam "fingers"
I'm a furniture maker and a trim carpenter constantly building stuff while simultaneously avoiding becoming a "frequent flyer" at the emergency room. I've owned a lot of feather boards and most of them are junk. They are either too small, too stiff, hard to adjust, won't stay in place, the plastic fingers break easily or they simply don't work. The Bow feather board is the first device of it's kind that I feel comfortable using, is considerably safer than other designs I've used, easy to adjust and is remarkably sturdy. A table saw kickback, material "jump" off a saw table top or a "wandering board" are all incredibly dangerous situations. Ask any ER doc who's had a visit from a patient with a few fingers on ice in a small beer cooler.I bought the Bow "double stack" of two feather boards for larger lumber and individually or as a pair, they are invaluable finger savers for any table saw. I cannot believe the number of "home improvement" spin off shows that have video of the knucklehead host bare handing short stock through a table saw blade minus a feather board and a push stick. That's just plain stupid. The foam fingers on the Bow product have great gripping power, it locks down tight on the table saw top, the fingers are replaceable and won't break like plastic fingers. The Bow is also a lot thicker than most feather boards and provides better stability on thicker boards and when doubled up, the Bow is really stable. If safety and retaining all your digits or avoiding a wooden stake missile shot into your groin is your idea of of a smart thing to do, then the Bow feather board is a must have.I read the one star reviews. Why do people post such useless 10 word reviews or whine about the packaging? What's the point? Rhetorical question - there is no point, they should be deleted by Amazon.
